First period after miscarriage

Hello, I had a miscarriage 5 weeks ago at 6 weeks (complete miscarriage) and two days later my hcg levels were below 1. All my pregnancy symptoms went straight away (mostly really sensitive boobs). Three weeks later my boobs started getting more and more sensitive/painful and veiny. Hard to know when i’m actually due on but I think
i’m a week late. I’ve taken tests but they’re negative (last time i was 10 days late before a positive result). Did anyone else have really sore boobs before their first period after m/c? I don’t get sore boobs usually with my period and they’ve been getting progressively more sensitive/painful over the last 2 weeks!

I also miscarried at nearly 7 weeks a few months ago, the cycle after it I was a week late for my period and was convinced I had every pregnancy symptom known to man including the sore boobs. I actually tracked ovulation for the first time ever and didn’t even ovulate but it didn’t stop me convincing myself! My period came a week late much to my disappointment. But then a cycle later I had no real symptoms but tested a couple of days before my period and it was positive.

Sore boobs can be a sign of your period or pregnancy unfortunately, for me it’s more lack of symptoms that signifies a pregnancy, all 4 times I’ve been pregnant I’ve just had lack of normal period symptoms. I don’t normally get pregnancy symptoms until around 5 1/2 weeks so over a week after a missed period. Everyone is different though.

Hi @igd171292 - I was literally scouring the boards trying to find the answer to this! I had an early miscarriage at around 5 weeks end of June. I took ov tests this month and around 2 days post ov, my boobs are really sore, worst they’ve ever been. I took a P test as I was so convinced but it was negative! My AF will be due on 25 July. I now think it might just be the hormones balancing out but time will tell xx

Thanks both! Still waiting, still negative so highly doubt I am pregnant now but super annoying having sensitive boobs (my nipples are sore to touch) If i’m not pregnant!
