Hi,

My cycle is a bit messed up at the moment. I had a positive ovulation test last week so I am about 6 or 7DPO. I can’t actually remember what date I had a positive ovulation test because I’ve had a manic week and didn’t note it down.

I did a test today, and was fully aware that chances are it’s way too early to test but thought I’d give it a go because I’m very impatient.

Two lines came up within 2 minutes but eventually the test line faded (after about 5-10 minutes).

Was this an evap line? It had my hopes up for a couple of minutes there Sad

If it faded, probably. Also if you’re only 6/7 days the chances were always very slim, but you do have a chance in the next few days. Leave it until 12DPO and do a FRER.

@HemulenHouse thank you, I was hoping I’d maybe ovulated early and the test had picked it up but that’s most likely not the case. I’ll try again next week!

It could be - if you haven’t since had a test with absolutely no line then it’s all a good sign really. At worst, you’re just testing too early. At best, it’s an early and unreliable BFP. Good luck!
