TTC December best time to stop pill?

Hi. We are hoping to start TTC in December once hopefully we have had our holiday and covid will have blown over a little.
When would be the best time to stop the pill and let my body adjust to a normal cycle ready for ttc?
Thank you!

As soon as possible. Some people can conceive the month they stop the pill but for others it can take a few months for cycles to start again. I didn't get a period (or ovulate) for almost a year after stopping the pill so had no chance of conceiving during that time.

@plixy thank you. I'm assuming the chances of getting pregnant in the first few months are pretty unlikely? We have a holiday booked for November fingers crossed so ideally would prefer not to be pregnant by then!

I would suggest stopping now and starting to track your cycles. You can then just use contraception or avoid unprotected sex around ovulation/your fertile period. It may well take a few months for ovulation to return and cycles to regulate so you're in a great position to get ahead on that!

I stopped mine in April, had 2 cycles and now pregnant xx
