AF due on/around 6th August 2020

Hey all. TTC baby number 2. Last month I was convinced I was pregnant but AF came right on time!

I'm now CD 6, AF has just finished and approaching this month with OPKs for the first time and following the SMEP plan! Trying to feel positive! Anyone else with me?

My temps gone up a bit today but I do have a nasty cold so that might be why. I still don't know if I've ovd yet or if I will at all this month. I'll have to see if my temps remain up I guess!

Hi everyone We are 26 and 31 TTC#1. Been trying about 6 months so far but tbh most of that time has been us trying to get our heads around timings!

I’m 4dpo and AF due 7th August. We did BD the two days before ovulation and the day of so hopefully this will be our month!

@ARIO I've got a sore throat now, so of course I'm wondering about my temp. Though looking at my chart it's really quite similar to last month's so far, so we'll see.

@Threnody once and if I confirm ovulation I am not temping anymore! Far too stressful!

Morning guys! How is everyone? I've FINALLY been able to confirm ovulation. A week later than normal! So my 2ww finally starts now! Gonna be long!

Morning @ARIO. That's great! Fertility friend confirmed I'm 3dpo this morning, so that's good, and my temps seem to be following same trend as past 2 cycles.

@Threnody Another 9 days to wait for me until AF. I'm due 7th August.

@buckingmad My AF is due same day as yours and we BDed the exact same days haha. Fingers crossed for us! Maybe we'll get BFPs on the same day! 😁

Hey guys, AF is due 3rd August for me so my tww is nearly over.

5dpo and 6dpo I had some sharp pinchy twinges on my left side kinda below my belly button but to the left? They were short, lasting only a few seconds each time and it happened about 6 times over the space of two days but the sharpness was enough to stop me in my tracks and make me react. I haven't felt that since but did have a dull ache in the same area last night for maybe a minute.

I don't know if it's a symptom or not but I thought it was worth mentioning in case anyone has had similar recently or in the past?

@DawnLaura I'm due on the 5th, but fertilityfriend is telling me not to test until the 7th.

Hi @gezelligheid, oh, not too long left, how many dpo are you now, when will you test? Could be implantation around 6dpo, or could just be random twinges. I felt a sort of burning sensation with my first, but nothing with my other pregnancies.

I'm only gonna test if AF doesn't show up. My periods last 3 days so if AF doesn't show for those 3 days I'll do a test then.

My first pregnancy I didn't get a positive test until 3 weeks after AF was due so I don't wanna do it too early

Can I join?

I'm on my second cycle TTC #1. First cycle was a chemical so everything it a bit skewwiff (in more ways than one!). Feeling a bit more positive generally now.

I think (based on OPKs and temperature) that I ovulated on 21st July so expecting AF on 5th based on my app. But my cycle is a bit confused by the CP so I'm just expecting it at some point next week!

We're a bit scarred by the experience of the chemical so won't be testing until AF is definitely late, bit until next weekend at the earliest! Although I won't be too gutted if I get my period this month as it just shows things are working after the chemical.

Hey @SequinCola sorry to hear about your cp. Definitely good to wait as long as possible.

I've had a funny old cycle this month, AF in theory would have been due on the 6th but given that I've only just ovulated at CD20 (a week later than normal) I'm guess my AF due date will be pushed back too. Otherwise its only an 8 day luteal phase which is waaay too short. Im going to try and hold out until the 10th to test! (though I do have some tests still around the house from last cycle so we'll see if I manage to wait!)

@buckingmad I'm not too sure. I had a chemical the cycle before last so I'm a bit apprehensive to test too early, so I might wait until the 8th if AF hasn't arrived my then. The 10th is my 30th birthday so don't want to spoil it by testing then, but also don't think I could wait any later than that either! When do you think you'll test?

@Threnody Are you planning on testing early or waiting until the 7th (or later)?

@ARIO just commented on another thread you’re on. I had the same happen to me with ovulation this month....so we are due on the same date 🤞🏼

I’m 43 (eeeek!) and had the copper coil removed about 4 months ago. I have to be honest and say this is the first month I’ve used opks and really “tried”.

I’ve only been pregnant naturally once which resulted in my DD - miracle conception according to my IVF consultant. Before that 2 x mmc’s from IVF treatment.

Really thought we wouldn’t try again, especially at my age, but DH is desperate for another and I’ve found myself feeling the same way too.

@HouseOfRunners I’m 41 and similar position to you, not really been ‘trying’ properly until this month with OPKs etc. Good luck with it. When is AF due?

AF due originally on 6th August but as ovulation arrived later than planned I’m guessing AF more likely on 10th......
How about you? When is AF for you?
How do you feel about being older and trying? I feel quite apprehended and worried....the fear is real!
Have you set a time limit of trying?

I feel a bit like I may have left it too late but also if I didn’t try I’d probably regret it! It’ll be my first, my partner has 2 kids from a previous relationship so he’s happy we’re trying but equally I don’t think he’ll be as disappointed as me if it doesn’t happen. Will probably try until the end of the year, may got to the GP before then if nothing is happening and see if we can be referred for any tests. IVF isn’t likely to be an option, it’ll have to be self funded and not sure I want to put us through it

@shinylovesshoes IVF is a slog and an emotional process for sure. We had to self fund our 3rd cycle and all we got out of that one was a BFN.
I know the issues I have (DD really was so unexpected by us and the Dr’s) so it’s highly unlikely that we will be that lucky twice. But I said to DH we would try and like you I’ll give it until the end of the year and then that will be it for us. At least I can say we tried.
Not feeling very positive this month after my weird out of the blue ovulation so late in my cycle.

Feel like I'm writing myself off for this month. Having vagina ache this morning and a little last night, like cramps from the inside? I dunno how to explain it but I feel like all these cramps are probably AF getting ready for her arrival

Only a few more days til AF is due so we'll see but I'm not getting my hopes up right now

How is everyone getting on? I'm only 4dpo today and very impatient already. I'm not feeling very confident. Feeling nausea, but obviously too early to be a symptom.

@DawnLaura - I'll have got my period by the 7th if I'm not pregnant, I'll try to hold off testing, but who am I kidding, I'm going to cave as I have no patience!

@babybumpfor2020 hi, that is quite a flat chart! How do you track your temps? It seems unusual for it not to go up and down a little.
@HouseOfRunners and @shinylovesshoes, I'm 40, so a little worried about my age being an issue, especially after my miscarriage. I have set myself a time limit too, going to try until the end of the year.

@Threnody it's not normal for me pre-af, I've never really had my vagina ache from the inside before. It was a weird feeling. The only time I've felt that same kind of ache was when I had a surgery on my cervix in 2015.

I just feel like we are so close to AF coming that any cramp is a sign of her unwelcome arrival at the minute
