Implantation bleeding and what to expect/experiences

Hi ladies, so I'm 11 dpo (roughly) due AF on Sunday and for the last three days I have been having on/off spotting, initially pinkish with blood streaks and now a brown light discharge.

I can't remember the last time I bled outside of my period and I am usually regular 28/29 days so I am wondering if it could be implantation BUT we only managed to DTD once this time due to partner working away so I'm not hopeful :(

Has anyone had implantation bleeding that lasted for three days, I have mild cramps and back pain too which is unusual for this stage of my cycle.

Interestingly my boobs sting now and then but they are less painful than usual 🤷‍♀️

I'd love to hear your experiences of implantation bleeding and how long it took before you took a test. I took a test today with afternoon wee but it was negative 😔

We won't be able to try for another couple of months now due to partners work so I'd love for it to be positive but I know it doesn't work like that 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

My implantation bleed was about 4 to 5 days before my period was due. Light bleeding with a bit of back ache. Lasted for about 48 hours.

@QuidcoQueen Thank you that's helpful, how long after it stopped did you test?

I never had any bleeding with my first until about 7 weeks 🙈 so it's all new to me, I hope it's not an early AF, think I would have come on by now but our bodies are mysterious 🤷‍♀️

Don't worry about only dtd once. Once is all it takes 😂 FX to you!

My implementation bleeding lasted about 24 hours or even less. Started spotting 9DPO, it stopped at 10DPO and i tested on the day and got a strong positive on FRER

Also had back aches like you said! It was like back cramps, different from the usual period cramps.

@RMarieClaire I know this, I think it's more that I don't want to get my hopes up again. In months previous we've been much more active with trying so I had kind of given this month up until the bleeding. Fingers crossed!

@Aaj04 Thanks for sharing your experience! I'm still bleeding lightly now on and off so we'll see. I do have period-like cramps but pain in my lower back too and generally achy legs!

We have had positives which have turned to negatives for two of the last three months so I was trying not to test too early but it's sooo difficult!

I actually made a pact with myself that I wouldn't do any of this for this month and I would avoid early tests and apps but here I am 🙈😂🙈
