Aaarggh is this positive or negative?!

Did this one and thought I could see a line (first morning wee!) so got a clear blue and did it this afternoon and it said not pregnant.
Period due today but hasn’t arrived.
Not sure if I’m seeing lines!

I have heard about the inverting the photo "trick" when you're not sure if you can see a line or not. I just gave it a try on your pic (hope you don't mind) and there's no line on that either.

I can see an outline but I would maybe try again tomorrow or the next day for a stronger test

That's definitely a line! Mine was much fainter and I'm 14w pregnant now. Word of warning though, it could also be a CP. Have you tried another brand? Always recommend a First Response. Good luck x

Hi OP, I see a line too!

A CP is a chemical pregnancy; when you get a positive test but start to bleed very shortly afterwards. Not to disrespect @trying2be, but there's no reason to think that might be a CP. sometimes if a line is extra faint when you're very late on your period, this can be an indicator of a CP or a miscarriage, but different tests have different strength lines and so many factors can affect the line too. A line is a line, so congratulations!

The test you have used has a sensitivity of 10 miu. Clearblue digital are something like 50 miu and far less sensitive so wouldn’t show a positive this early.

Test again in the morning with a FRER if you can.

Clear as day.

Do another test tomorrow or few days ☺️

Sorry to hear AF arrived, I wish you luck for next time. I hope I didn't upset you with my comment about it being a possible chemical pregnancy. It's just I've had a few previously which showed as faint positives even though my period was due and then AF started shortly after. When I've been 'properly' pregnant my positive lines have always been much stronger on the day of my missed period, so that's why I'm always a bit cautious of faint positives that close to the test date x
