TTC TMI: confused by my CM

Hi Ladies,

I’m wondering if you can help me. I’ve been tracking my CM this cycle & paying close attention to my body in hopes that I can use the information to aid with TTC.

I’m on CD 16 currently & according to my tracking app my fertile days are Wednesday to Sunday this week, I know these apps aren’t reliable hence tracking my CM too not to mention my cycles are a little wild, my last cycle was 37 days, the one before was 30 and the one before that was 35, so they bounce around a little bit.

Anyways my question is regarding my CM, I checked it today and it was abundant, very wet feeling, had a white tinge to it and could stretch it about 2cm from my thumb & finger before it would break apart if that makes sense. It kind of resembled what I normally note down as creamy CM but when I have Creamy CM its never been stretchy like this? Which has left me so confused.

Would that be considered EWCM or is that my body slowly transitioning into EWCM?

Any advice is welcome. Thank you 😊

I have that just before ewcm, I call it "nearly ewcm" haha

Not quite EWCM, I call that watery. My CM wasnt in line with my ovulation this month, my EWCM was well before ovulation then I continued with watery until ovulation. I'd recommend using OPKs or bbt aswell as CM to pinpoint ovulation

@Nottherealslimshady Thank you, I have used OPKs before but I ended up like a crazy lady 😂 my Husband & I said we would just leave it to fate. However I’ve been checking my CM anyway, I might talk to my husband & maybe start charting if that’s the best thing to pin point the big O
