When would you call it missed?

Im on cd 44 of a usual 28-40 day cycle, at what point would you say you have missed AF, or would you still test? I took a test this afternoon and it was negative

Anybody?

I think about 6 weeks though I've never experienced it. I'd wait a couple of days and test again if there's still nothing.

Is it normal to just randumly miss a period? I cant think its ever happened to me before

It's not really a "missed" period, just a really long cycle. The advice I got when I went without a period for a long time was to take a pregnancy test every week until you either get a BFP or AF. AF eventually turned up, just hugely late!
