Myself and my partner last month began the journey of officially actively TTC. Entering cycle 2.
I know it is going to be a long journey (see our little story below as to why). I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas they use to make it more fun and creative that has helped with a long journey. Particularly those who have an "obsessive personality" like myself. For example bullet journalling the TTC journey, rather than just using apps. Trying an testing different things each month and the success of these things (e.g different foods or sex positions or any other tips and tricks). I want to try and enjoy the journey rather than being intensly focused on the BFP. And I am a natural overthinker, so if I dont make fun out of obsessing (which is inevitable), I'll probably end up in a bad way.
Prior to us getting together, some years ago, he and his previous partner had fertility issues and they never were able to conceive. When his Semen analysis results were returned back then, they werent great and his swimmers were a little sluggish, but he was not considered "infertile" by the doctors as he did have rapid little guys swimming around. Myself - I am currently awaiting an ultrasound to see why I am experiencing severe bloating every cycle for the last 2 cycles (all other tests came back fine and the doctor said he very much doubts its anything to do with my cycle an not pcos or endo, more likely my bowels but ultrasound to check).
We have been having unprotected sex for over a year now, with no pregnancy happening at all, but never actively tried etc.
I expect a long journey ahead, so please share your advice for settling in for a long journey.
