TTC after finishing cerazette

Hi Everyone

I’m completely new to all this so I am sorry if this has all been asked before!

Me and my partner have decide nows the ttc after our big holiday for my 30th in March was cancelled due to COVID and there’s no sign of it happening again... at least for a while.

I stopped taking cerazette in May and my withdraw bleed was in June and now just started on my first bleed... 37 days later..

My friends are all on their 2nd children now... I just wanted some reassurance that it didn’t take everyone else forever for their 1st after coming over cerazette especially now I’m in the dreaded 3 0 category... haha

I’m also 30 trying for #1 ☺️ I came off Cerazette in April, after my withdrawal bleed it was 37 days later that I had my first proper AF too! The next cycle was 27 days, and I’m currently on CD35 with no AF, but I’m yet to test because I’m so nervous 🤣
I spent my whole 20’s adamant I didn’t want a baby yet, then as soon as I hit 30 I felt the pressure 😅

I was on Cerazette - I stopped taking it at the start of May 2019 and found out I was pregnant in the September Think it took a couple of months for my periods to return. Good luck!

Hiya, came off Cerazette in February after being on it for about a year after having DS (not because i'm TTC yet, but because it played havoc with my mood, but that's another story...). Had no periods while on it.

I didn't have a bleed for 9 weeks, followed then by a 44 day cycle, then panic that it would take ages to go back to normal but a perfect 28 days later and boom! Back on track.

Thanks everyone I think that’s put my mind at ease! It’s literally like you turn 30 and this huge panic sets in! You hear all these horror stories online that it took people years to get pregnant after coming off cerazette!

I think that since you've had a couple of bleeds without having to wait too long, its a good sign you'll be one of those who doesn't have issues and regulates soon enough. And you never know - maybe AF won't arrive next month at all :-) I'm also 30, remember people are having babies in their 40s still, don't stress too much you're already ahead of the game on your original plan. Fingers crossed!
