Multiple positive OPKs is this normal?

As the title says.. I've had positive OPKs for the past 4/5 days (minus yesterday where both were just "high") is this normal? I've never tracked ovulation before but had a chemical pregnancy almost 7 weeks ago and my periods never returned so wanted to have a bit of control! I've tested a few times for pregnancy and have been BFN 😩 currently CD 46! Any thoughts on what on earth is happening?

@sle0911 do you have PCOS?

sle0911 · 09/07/2020 17:41

@Elakiya nope not that I'm aware of, cycles have always been quite regular and no symptoms of PCOS!

@sle0911 was just asking because some women with PCOS have high levels of LH throughout their cycle and therefore have loads of peaks in their cycle.

Just had a look at the pictures only the 6th and 7th look like peaks to me as the line is thicker than the control line the others look high to me, but it could just be the picture. If that is the case then they say an LH surge can last up to 72 hours.

I’ve also read that sometimes your body gears up to ovulate but the ovary doesn’t release an egg so it tries again.

So unsure what’s happening as I am not a doctor. However if in doubt BD anyway 😄

@Elakiya yeah there was one really definite one on the 7th!

Thanks for your advice, will defo DTD to try and cover all bases, I blimmin well hope an egg has been released 🤞🏼

@sle0911 curious to see if you ended up getting pregnant on this cycle?

sle0911 · 10/08/2020 07:20

@Elakiya hi! Nope no BFP from this cycle, my period finally returned on CD 57! We have stopped TTC for now as our wedding was postponed until next August and it is abroad so will start trying again after 😊
