Hello, just a new thread for August...will add people as and when they finish with the 'July pact'

I think it's important to have a relevant thread once you are looking forward and gearing up for the next cycle...
Or chat turns to tww's when we will want to start chatting about ovulation again...

Will run both threads alongside each other ❤️

Morning team!

14DPO and I feel slight cramping - can't work out if it's an IBS flare up (had chilli last night) or pre-AF cramping! I've been off IBS meds for 3 months now, it's actually been pretty easy but today I'd quite like to take something to stop this feeling. 😅Going to head to the gym instead.

@Sansa87 I hope work is better today and you hit peak soon - that's the most important BD time - try not to put pressure on yourself so soon.

whambam89 · 11/08/2020 07:56

@LeopardLover I don't know how you've not tested yet at 14dpo! 9dpo for me, still just got sore boobs and was asleep before 10 last night with a banging headache. Both probably caused by progesterone so could technically go either way I suppose. Will buy some tests if no AF by Thursday as that will be my longest lp in a few months

SS123456 · 11/08/2020 07:57

Morning ladies! Got back from a sweltering stay in France at 2.30am so running on 3.5 hours sleep which is joyful! How are we all? I am 10dpo today so may do a cheapy test tomorrow!?

MrsB2019x · 11/08/2020 08:06

Morning ladies, tested today at 12DPO and BFN so just going to assume I’m out this month 👎

LeopardLover · 11/08/2020 09:11

@whambam89 That sounds really positive!! My cramps have disappeared after some exercise, so putting that down to last night's spicy meal. I just felt so disappointed when I saw that BFN last month and I don't feel weird - not that I'd know how pregnant feels but still! I want to save my test for when I feel the urge 🤣 I'll test on Friday if AF doesn't arrive. I'm just symptom-free atm. My Femometer app is actually saying I'm due on tomorrow!

LeopardLover · 11/08/2020 09:13

@SS123456 Oh gosh, I couldn't function on less than 4 hours! 😅 Ooooh! Do you have any symptoms?

@MrsB2019x You aren't out!! That could still be too early. X

whambam89 · 11/08/2020 10:07

@LeopardLover sounds positive for you too! I do think as the number of cycles increases the more relaxed I've been about it, strangely. My tooth / gum is still really aching as well but that's coming and going - usually just happens a couple of days after ovulation, never as late as 9dpo but could just be an infection brewing I suppose haha. Flo says AF is due tomorrow for me but Femometer and Ovia (don't ask why I have so many apps, I'm not really sure 🙈) say Saturday.

whambam89 · 11/08/2020 10:08

@SS123456 Hope you had a lovely time! I think you should definitely test tomorrow x

BuckleUp · 11/08/2020 10:15

@LeopardLover @whambam89 Things sound promising for you guys. I'm impressed with your self control to not test! Keeping my fingers crossed for you both 🤞🏻

@MrsB2019x Theres definitely still time yet. 12dpo is still pretty early!

@SS123456 Welcome back, I hope you enjoyed your holiday 😊

Nausea is setting in for me now, not awful, but enough that I'm off my oats (literally). Eating ginger nuts like they're going out of fashion 😂

Sansa87 · 11/08/2020 10:33

Can someone remind me why I’ve ignored my sick note and come back to work 😩 my job feels like it’s been taken away from me. My work phone has been given to someone else, my office was gutted and given away (though I’m sat in it, & using it anyway)

I’m hot, I’m tired, & bleh

Sorry for whinge, but nowhere else to vent xx

SVC11 · 11/08/2020 10:34

Ahh @BuckleUp good you have some symptoms... I literally have none... My nipples are slightly sore but that's all, nothing like af sore but still sensitive. Other than that nothing! See how it goes in a couple of weeks I suppose!

kirinm · 11/08/2020 10:48

Hi ladies,

Hope you are all doing okay - sorry you're struggling being back at work @Sansa87 - could you re-think your decision?

Having another chemical has been a bit of a headfuck for me to be honest. I clearly don't have too much difficulty getting pregnant but can't stay pregnant - that was actually the case about a decade ago too. I don't even know what cycle day I'm on.

Haven't been feeling well and have ended up doing a covid test. I'm waiting for the results. The results will dictate whether we try this month or not - and this bloody heat! We are meant to be going away at the weekend so that may be ruined too if the test is positive.

Good luck for all those yet to test. If we do try this month, my AF will be due on 1 September so I'll have August to wonder about symptoms.

claireb707 · 11/08/2020 10:58

It's amazing how much better I feel after a day off and a good night's sleep.

I'd been surviving on 5-6 hours a night for a few weeks and I think my period arriving yesterday just tipped me over the edge. I spent most of the day in tears but went for a walk with partner last night and took a sleeping tablet to ensure I slept and I slept from 10 through till 6.30 so must have been tired. Had a shower this morning and feel so much better. We've also extended our camping trip at the end of the month so I now have 11 days of work around the bank holiday.

SVC11 · 11/08/2020 11:26

@kirinm so sorry you feel so low. How many weeks were you when you had your chemical if you don't mind me asking. I'm worried about the same thing happening. It's so stress all the time! Hope you get negative covid results! X

whambam89 · 11/08/2020 13:10

@kirinm sorry to hear that you're struggling, I can only imagine how mentally exhausting it is for you - perhaps a month off TTC is what you need? Hope you're feeling better soon and your test comes back negative x

whambam89 · 11/08/2020 13:11

@sansa87 that sounds a bit out of order! Is there anyone you can discuss it with? I'm sure going back was because you wanted some kind of normality whereas it sounds as though they've made it far from normal for you. Hope it gets sorted x

SS123456 · 11/08/2020 14:52

@LeopardLover I just had a tiny pink bit of CM when I wiped and feel a little bit crampy but apart from that just sore boobs but I get that every month from the point I ovulate until AF is over

MrsB2019x · 11/08/2020 15:25

@LeopardLover @BuckleUp Thanks girls - I think it’s just easier mentally for me to accept I’m out this month, then if I’m not it’s a happy surprise ☺️ Hope the nausea has eased up a bit for you Buckle!

@Sansa87 Hope work has got a bit easier as the day progresses. Are you back full time straight away? (Sorry if you’ve already mentioned this elsewhere!) Maybe exploring a staggered return might work better?

@kirinm Sorry you’re feeling down lovely ☹️ Hope your Covid test comes back negative

@claireb707 Glad you’re feeling better today ☺️

@SS123456 That sounds promising!

whambam89 · 11/08/2020 15:48

I've been offered a new job today so what's the betting I'll end up with a BFP now? 🙈

Sansa87 · 11/08/2020 16:07

I am back full time. They’ve literally given my role to someone else. I don’t know if it’s because they’re trying to make it easier for me, but nothing has been discussed with me.

Heads up, don’t sign up to any pregnancy things when you get your bfps.

I’ve been inundated with emails congratulating me on making it to 12 weeks today. 😢

MrsB2019x · 11/08/2020 17:30

Congrats on the new job @whambam89!

That’s just rotten @Sansa87, both work and the emails ☹️ I’d say can you talk to your manager but don’t imagine you have the energy for it right now 😔

...Has anyone else noticed we’ll need to create a new thread soon as it’s gonna max out not even halfway into the month? 😂

LT103 · 11/08/2020 17:34

@Sansa87 that sounds horrible. Hopefully everything settles down soon!!

claireb707 · 11/08/2020 17:37

@MrsB2019x

Congrats on the new job *@whambam89*!

Was thinking that too, lots of talking this month 😂
whambam89 · 11/08/2020 18:19

@MrsB2019x thank you! It'll just be typical (although still very welcomed!) that I get a BFP this month 🙈

MrsB2019x · 11/08/2020 18:23

@whambam89 My friend started a new job when she was about 8 weeks pregnant, she just didn’t let them know until about 16 weeks 😂
