Hello, just a new thread for August...will add people as and when they finish with the 'July pact'

I think it's important to have a relevant thread once you are looking forward and gearing up for the next cycle...
Or chat turns to tww's when we will want to start chatting about ovulation again...

Will run both threads alongside each other ❤️

@BronzeSilverGold13 I hate those weekly ones. Whilst me, they did actually show something was wrong, they just can’t be relied on.

I believe to get that result you need hcg over 2900 or something very close. The safe range is ridiculous in reality though. You could have that level straight away and have a safe pregnancy, or not be anywhere near that and still be safe. The only importance is it’s doubling every 48 hours.

I was stuck on 2-3. However my hcg did go into the range for 3+ but I knew my hcg had only risen 16% so it wasn’t a good sign for me personally.

When I read into them, I was so angry. (However when I get my bfp again, I will no doubt use them to show myself it’s progressing still)

whambam89 · 09/08/2020 08:36

@Buckleup I'm not sure about temping, sorry but hope everything is ok for you!

whambam89 · 09/08/2020 08:37

@MrsB2019x ooh hopefully that's a good sign! When are you going to test again?

BronzeSilverGold13 · 09/08/2020 08:46

@whambam89 my last AF started on the 30th of June, but it only lasted 3 days which is very unusual for me! Dunno if that makes a difference

@Sansa87 I wasn't going to go for the indicator one originally as I've heard they're not that accurate but superdrug has a deal on so for and extra 49p I got a normal clear blue and a digital with weeks. I did the normal one last night with not so great wee and it is a very dark blue line and then the digital this morning with fmu!

I'm so scared that it's not going to work out for me but I don't want to jinx it either! I'll be calling drs in the morning to get booked in for a blood test

claireb707 · 09/08/2020 08:49

I'm 14dpo today, period due today / tomorrow.

I clearly spoke too soon earlier 😂 partner just came into bedroom and woke me up. Feel really groggy now (again like a hangover) - I only had a can of that hard seltzer stuff I've seen advertised everywhere so definitely not a hangover.

Sansa87 · 09/08/2020 08:58

@BronzeSilverGold13 early pregnancy sucks doesn’t it 😂 whilst it wont ease your mind, try and thing that to get that result you have the higher end of the hcg range.

The doctor at my first scan says she hated them because she saw too many patients worry over weird results but healthy, progressing hcg levels.

The only good thing I see about them is that if it doesn’t get to the next level with a certain time frame there could be something wrong. Where I had a missed miscarriage, I might have been waiting until my dating scan to find out, which would’ve been next week.

MrsB2019x · 09/08/2020 09:03

@BuckleUp I have no idea about temps and stuff so can’t help there - that test looks quite reassuring though ☺️

@whambam89 Tested again this morning with an IC, BFN (10DPO). Starting to think I’m going mental. 🤪

Hopefully it’s a promising sign for you @claireb707 🤞

SVC11 · 09/08/2020 09:07

@Sansa87 did you know about your mmc because you were stuck on 2 to 3 weeks on the digital test? @BuckleUp and @BronzeSilverGold13 I'm just as anxious as you guys... I dunno when to tell my parents as I'm so worried it will just go wrong.. .

BuckleUp · 09/08/2020 09:19

@claireb707 14dpo is still pretty early, I've heard some people don't get a BFP until 19+dpo even if AF is late. Fingers crossed it's a good sign x

@whambam89 @MrsB2019x Thanks, I'm trying not to read too much into it but it's hard not to fret over everything..

@SVC11 I know what you mean. I almost told my parents yesterday when they visited but decided not to. I'm kinda glad I didn't now..

Sansa87 · 09/08/2020 09:20

@SVC11 that and my boobs not hurting (which apparently comes and goes during early pregnancy anyway) it made me panic and go to the doctors who referred me to the local epau. Two blood tests and three scans later over a period of 2 weeks and they Confirmed it for me.

However It baby was okay it still could have been stuck on that one for a while if my hcg levels were just low, so whilst it made me go get checked out, it didn’t mean that something was wrong, if that makes sense?

claireb707 · 09/08/2020 09:23

Big blank no on a frer and an ic

SVC11 · 09/08/2020 09:24

Mmm I think I just need to forget about it (ha) for a couple weeks and if not bleeding or obvious signs of mc... Maybe take another digital and see how it's doing. I think il tell my parents at 10 weeks if I get that far... My mum will want to know if I m going for a scan and I'd feel bad not telling her this exciting thing is happening... We are super close. The only issue is dh is going away for work on the 18th, so if something goes wrong il be dealing with it on my own...

MrsB2019x · 09/08/2020 09:25

Sorry to hear @claireb707 Flowers

SVC11 · 09/08/2020 09:26

@BuckleUp see where your temp is tomorrow? Try not to worry xx

Rotagilla · 09/08/2020 09:40

Morning ladies, congratulations to @SVC11 and @BronzeSilverGold13 that's fantastic!
We have had 7bfp's already!
Baby dust to all ❤️
I've updated the spreadsheet for those still to test this month...let me know if any changes xx

Apparently this is my cycle @Rotagilla

If I have gone back to normal I should get peak ovulation tomorrow. Although I’ve checked the sticks and the lines are squinters so I’m not sure how I’m even high fertility atm. I never checked what they looked like last time, & only kept the two from the days I ovulated. 🙈

August - might be a pact....might be madness
whambam89 · 09/08/2020 10:26

@BronzeSilverGold13 based on your LMP that would put you at almost 6 weeks pregnant so 3+ weeks on CB digital probably is quite accurate! You've done well to not test until yesterday!

BronzeSilverGold13 · 09/08/2020 11:11

@Sansa87 yeah I wouldn't have normally gone for a weeks indicator but with it being in sale I thought why not! I suppose if I was still in the really early days it would be better for spotting HCG increase but they don't go higher than 3+weeks so I guess I wouldn't know, sorry to hear about your MMC

@SVC11 I'm going to have to tell my mum today as I work with her... I work in a kitchen and today has been horrible, we are a meals on wheels service and we dished our 60 chicken meals that made me want to gag with every smell!! The only thing I'm worried about is she can be very opinionated so I don't want her to ruin my little ray of sunshine.

@Rotagilla thank you I was part of another thread you did a few months ago so it feels like we've come far together! You must be good luck!

@whambam89 Oh wow I wouldn't have thought I'd have been that far along but it does make sense I have felt strange for weeks

LeopardLover · 09/08/2020 11:14

Morning all! I'm in full DIY mode over here, it's actually pretty chilly today in this part of the country.

@BuckleUp I hope you aren't too worried, I have no idea what happens during pregnancy but from what I've read it's so easy to get an abnormal result. Fingers crossed it shoots back up overnight. 😊

@claireb707 Unless you've caught a bug, these symptoms are still super promising!

@Sansa87 Hopefully you hit peak ASAP 😊

LeopardLover · 09/08/2020 11:28

@5rosebud Awww, what DPO are you? It's still disappointing no matter what cycle! You might not be out yet. 😊

@MrsB2019x Oh no! Hope you feel okay now - do you think TTC was on your mind?

Sansa87 · 09/08/2020 11:42

We are currently on the motorway going to look in furniture village and a big next 😁 blinking hot though

SS123456 · 09/08/2020 11:52

Thank you for updating @Rotagilla 😊

We have been melting in a caravan in France the last few days but thankfully it has stopped me testing as we have my son and my parents with us

We will be back on Tuesday when I'll be 10dpo so I'm sure I'll prob test then 🤦🏻‍♀️

Rotagilla · 09/08/2020 11:57

@Sansa87 I'm so pleased for you how your body has recovered and got back to normal, can't wait to see your peak!

@BronzeSilverGold13 so happy to see you pop up. I love this group, everyone is so lovely ❤️

BronzeSilverGold13 · 09/08/2020 12:37

@Rotagilla I try not to come into baby buses very often as I get a bit OTT with symptom spotting but I saw yours just before my AF was due, saw it was you and thought "it must be a nice bunch so I'll join" a day later I got my BFP so I feel like your my lucky charm! ❤️

Rotagilla · 09/08/2020 12:54

@BronzeSilverGold13 that's so lovely ❤️ I know what you mean about the symptom spotting...the first few cycles I was crazy...Driving myself bonkers.
Then we had the 'pact' and it calmed me down.... I've learnt that your body will throw every random symptom your way when you are ttc!
