Hello, just a new thread for August...will add people as and when they finish with the 'July pact'

I think it's important to have a relevant thread once you are looking forward and gearing up for the next cycle...
Or chat turns to tww's when we will want to start chatting about ovulation again...

Will run both threads alongside each other ❤️

@LT103 sending you lots of baby dust for the next 6 months then! Same, If I could get an Easter off too. Probably adds up that I shouldn't get pregnant this month!

MrsB2019x · 27/07/2020 21:43

@Sansa87 Hope the pain eases off for you and you have a restful night 💕

@stickytoffeepud1991 Honestly I hated being a MSW because I did find midwives would take the piss. I barely had any training and wasn’t confident on some things but if I asked for help I got eye rolls 🙄 so I only lasted 7 months! Working with the babies was lovely though 🥰

stickytoffeepud1991 · 27/07/2020 22:04

@Sansa87 oh darling you look like you’ve been through so much. You should of asked for pain relief bless you. Take care of yourself rest easy for the next week or so. Lots of baby dust for you 💓💓💓

@MrsB2019x yep I admit there are definitely some who are lazy but as I did that job when I was a student it made me value the hard work and I vowed never to be like that when I was qualified. Hope you are happier now in your new job! Xx

whambam89 · 27/07/2020 22:29

@sansa87 glad it went smoothly for you, rest up and take care!

MrsB2019x · 27/07/2020 22:45

@stickytoffeepud1991 Yeah got to say there were also some midwives who really valued MSW’s and would take the time to help. You sound like a great midwife ☺️

Quercus3 · 28/07/2020 07:14

@Sansa87 lots of love to you, I hope you had a good night's rest. I'm sorry you didn't get to see a doctor or get any pain meds, hope the pain eases a little for you today. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, I'm sorry it's been such a long process for you XX

LeopardLover · 28/07/2020 07:55

@Sansa87 Hope you're okay, and weren't too uncomfortable last night. It's a shame you couldn't see a doctor but hopefully you have a follow up call with them? Rest up and take care. Xx

LeopardLover · 28/07/2020 07:57

Morning all! How are we? Woke up to a static smiley at CD13 which really surprised me... Until I realised this happened last month at CD13! Now feeling a bit guilty we only DTD on CD10 and CD12 but hey ho. We will make the most of the next few days. 😅

kirinm · 28/07/2020 07:58

Morning!

6dpo and busy trying not to symptom spot -'I don't actually have any symptoms but am casually waiting for any sign of implantation Grin.

I have decided not to test until / unless I feel pregnant. I've been pregnant 7 times and know how i feel pregnant so I'm going to try and be honest with myself so I can avoid seeing a BFN this month.

BuckleUp · 28/07/2020 08:43

@LeopardLover morning 😊

@kirinm good plan, hopefully it'll stop you stressing as much as last month.

I'm 8dpo now and no sign of implantation, in fact no symptoms at all. AF due Saturday so I'll see soon enough. DH and I only managed to DTD twice during my fertile window this cycle so not holding out much hope. Work is busy so plenty to focus on at the moment!

BabyH88 · 28/07/2020 09:23

@BuckleUp I am in the exact same position as you AF due Saturday and only managed to DTD a couple of times during my fertile window. Do you think you will test before Saturday?

kirinm · 28/07/2020 09:37

I definitely swear by having something else to distract you during the TWW. I'm still pushing on with exercise. I know some of you keep exercise low impact or minimal during the TWW but I have reached the point where I can't let TWW take over my life - it becomes too disheartening so I'm going to keep trying to get fitter. That is not a dig, I just realise how miserable TTC is making me when nothing is happening so I need something else in my life. I'm hoping to finish C25k before I go away at the end of August. Possibly a bit optimistic!

BuckleUp · 28/07/2020 10:07

@BabyH88 aww it's nice to have a cycle buddy! I'm not planning on testing unless AF is late. It's my 2nd cycle and not testing helped lower anxiety last cycle. When do you usually test?

@kirinm I've maintained my training schedule. I have a half marathon that's been postponed to October that I'm still training for. I understand people wanting to limit exercise, but for me personally I want my body to be fit and healthy when I get that BFP 😊. Good luck with you c25k!

LeopardLover · 28/07/2020 10:10

@BuckleUp No symptoms doesn't mean anything, especially so early. 😊

@kirinm I think it's a good idea, I'm not going to stick to minimal exercise this month - I've missed it way too much and it helps with my mental health too! Working from home is such a drag. Well done for not testing early! I'm going to wait until AF is due!

BabyH88 · 28/07/2020 10:12

@BuckleUp I have no idea when to test this is my first cycle if I can wait for AF not to arrive then I will or will maybe test Friday. I feel like AF may be on her way as I have a ache in my tummy and feel drained which is usual signs for me. But I'm holding out hope until she arrives.

kirinm · 28/07/2020 10:13

@buckleup what half are you training for? I was meant to be doing the London Landmarks half in March and was training for it before lockdown. They couldn't reschedule it though. My running has turned to absolute cack since then though hence starting C25K!

@leopardlover Oh i'm glad to hear it. Exercise is so good for mental health isn't it? Even if work is rubbish, I feel like I've achieved something if I have managed to workout / run.

BuckleUp · 28/07/2020 10:25

@LeopardLover Thanks 😊

@BabyH88 You never know! I think leaving testing until the day before or after AF is due helps limit false positives and getting hopes up. It's personal preference though! Good luck for your 1st cycle 🤞🏻

@kirinm It's a Lakeland Trail one based in Coniston. I was hoping to get all my races done before TTC, but they've all been postponed and I still want to attempt them one way or another! It could be a long journey so don't want to put life on hold.. Your fitness will come back quickly 👍🏻

BabyH88 · 28/07/2020 11:34

@BuckleUp I will hold out in the hope I don't see AF. Keep me posted when/if you decide to test. Baby dust to you!

Sansa87 · 28/07/2020 11:35

I’m feeling quite good today. My throat and sternum (?) hurts today. But it’s the first day I’ve not felt an emotional mess. Going to take some pain killers in a mo, because I’ve got them, so why the hell feel any pain.

How are you all doing? Thankyou so much for all your support the last three weeks ❤️

BuckleUp · 28/07/2020 11:48

@BabyH88 shall do 😊. Baby dust back at you!

@Sansa87 I'm glad you're feeling more positive today. Hopefully you'll now be able to move forward at your own pace. Take care of yourself x

LeopardLover · 28/07/2020 11:56

@Sansa87 So glad you're feeling better today. Hope you're watching more Disney+ and OH is looking after you. Xx

BabyH88 · 28/07/2020 12:07

@BuckleUp I have just started spotting 🙁 looks like I'm out.

Quercus3 · 28/07/2020 12:10

@Sansa87 pleased you're feeling ok today, take good care and give yourself lots of treats ♥️

Had my siblings over for dinner last night, first time we've had anyone over to the house for ages. Was so nice, completely took my mind off things. It's so easy to get in your head about ttc when working from home!

BuckleUp · 28/07/2020 12:11

@BabyH88 Could it be implantation bleeding? If you're 8/9dpo then I think that's when implantation most often happens 🤔
