Hello, just a new thread for August...will add people as and when they finish with the 'July pact'

I think it's important to have a relevant thread once you are looking forward and gearing up for the next cycle...
Or chat turns to tww's when we will want to start chatting about ovulation again...

Will run both threads alongside each other ❤️

Would you say this is positive?

kirinm · 27/07/2020 13:14

@Purplefairy25 is it an ovulation test or pregnancy? Pregnancy then definitely yes, but ovulation no. My understanding is that the second line has to be as dark or darker than the control line to be deemed positive. you could be close though.

Purplefairy25 · 27/07/2020 13:28

@kirinm it's an ovulation stick. The test line is darker irl. Got plenty of ewcm too so fx. Will test again later today to see what it says

Hey guys. How's everyone? I think I'm ruling out this month.. I usually have a regular 28 day cycle and currently day 18 and despite a peak ov test at cd13 my charts show that I haven't ovulated yet as I've had no temp rise. Not sure whether taking vitb6 has affected my ovulation? Not sure what to think but it's very frustrating. Will keep ov testing to see if it's just been delayed. The longest my cycle has been this year is 29 days so who knows.

For some reason I’m not Getting any of these notifications that things have been posted!

How is everyone?? What CD is everyone on?? My AF came to an end Friday morning. According to ovia I’m due to start my ovulation this weekend so I might buy some opks.

What ones do everyone use? X

LT103 · 27/07/2020 16:06

That’s annoying @ARIO. Keep testing. Sometimes if you don’t ovulate successfully the body will try again later in cycle?

ARIO · 27/07/2020 16:10

Yeah very annoying but actually beginning to get ewcm so I'm holding on to the hope that the b6 has shifted things along a bit rather than it being a anovulatory cycle. I've heard that b6 can do that! Will keep using OPKs.

MrsB2019x · 27/07/2020 16:17

@stickytoffeepud2412 CD13 over here, had some EWCM today but not a sniff on OPK’s yet.

I use OneStep, cheap on Amazon 😂 I think the Clear Blue ones look really good but they are so expensive!!

I’m out of recovery and back on the ward

Had a complete breakdown when I came round which is highly embarrassing but they were lovely.

Still waiting to see my doctor

Boc86 · 27/07/2020 17:34

Hugs @Sansa87 :(

BuckleUp · 27/07/2020 17:34

@Sansa87 I'm glad you're back in recovery. I hope the doctor can provide all the information you need. Take care x

LT103 · 27/07/2020 17:37

@Sansa87 glad it all went ok. Hope you’re ok Take it easy and hope you’re home soon

ARIO · 27/07/2020 17:41

@Sansa87 sorry to read about what you've been through. Glad today went well x

stickytoffeepud2412 · 27/07/2020 17:47

@Sansa87 so sorry lovely I haven’t been getting any of the thread notifications. Hope it went as well as it could of done. Thinking of you x sending you hugs and future baby dust Flowers

@MrsB2019x fab!! Just ordered me some 😅 don’t want to get to obsessed but I was slightly gutted AF showed last week even though we weren’t trying but not preventing. Xx

MrsB2019x · 27/07/2020 17:55

@Sansa87 Hope everything went as well as it could have done. Nobody will blame you for having a bit of a breakdown, it’s such a tough thing to go through 💕

@stickytoffeepud2412 Sounds like you’re ready to obsess like the rest of us 😂

stickytoffeepud2412 · 27/07/2020 17:59

@MrsB2019x 😂😂😂 I know right. Am determined not to have a September baby (no offence to anyone who has one) xx

MrsBtobe2020 · 27/07/2020 19:11

@stickytoffeepud2412 haha love that! I just want a baby in a month that means I get Christmas off on maternity leave 😄 (I'm not allowed any December hols usually)

LT103 · 27/07/2020 19:38

@MrsBtobe2020 I’ve totally been thinking that too. And if I can get summer and xmas extra bonus haha.

I’ve not been able to use All my holidays this year and have had to carry 4 weeks forward to use half next year and half the year after. I’m thinking it would mean can just add holidays to either end maternity and get more time off. Now I just need to fall pregnant in the next 6 months to make use of it 😬😬

MrsB2019x · 27/07/2020 19:59

@stickytoffeepud2412 I wouldn’t mind a Sept baby (would prefer an April one though 😉) how come not Sept if you don’t mind me asking?

stickytoffeepud2412 · 27/07/2020 20:26

@MrsBtobe2020 haha I know the feeling!!! My DD is Xmas Eve and fortunately manage to have 1st birthday off due to still being on mat leave, her 2nd cause I worked the night shift and her 3rd again cause I worked night shift 🤣 I’m due Xmas off this year I hope... Grin

@MrsB2019x because I already despise paying for nursery even though DD gets her 30 hours she will basically be nearly 5 when she starts school! And also I am a midwife and my colleagues will kill me with what is already a relentless month, what with Covid conceptions making it very busy this year Grin so April may June July or August will be fine haha xx

MrsB2019x · 27/07/2020 20:33

@stickytoffeepud2412 Never thought about it that way, that’s very true! I used to be a maternity support worker and conveniently left at the end of July Grin

stickytoffeepud1991 · 27/07/2020 20:38

@MrsB2019x amazing!! I did bank shifts as a msw whilst I did my training at uni for the money and experience it was a fantastic job and I really appreciated everything a lot more when I qualified and didn’t take the p*ss!! If it happens it happens but would prefer it not too! Xx

Sansa87 · 27/07/2020 20:52

I’m back home, letting myself fully mood go into self pity for tonight.

I never got to see a doctor which I’m quite sad about because I wanted to talk about how the op went, I was surgery about 40 minutes apparently so a bit longer than I expected. There’s nothing bad on my discharge papers which is good news I guess.

Didn’t get sent home with any pain relief either which I’m disappointed about as in a bit of pain. I felt I couldn’t complain as it could make me sound like an addict 😂

Photo in black and white because I really do look bloody awful and none of you need to see that if you’re dtd tonight 😅

We will try again, & we will get our rainbow baby. 🌈❤️
