Ovulation buddies starting July 8-14

Hey everyone,

Anyone else just started ovulation or about to start in the next week. Let's start a chat and keep ourselves busy as we head through ovulation and the dreaded 2WW.

Little about me this is my 2 cycle at TTC Baby no.1 I'm about to start ovulation on fri or sat, so going to make the most of this week. I've ordered some IC ovulation sticks hopefully will arrive in next couple days and I will give them a try out. What is everyone else doing to prepare themselves for ovulation???

Has anyone had snot looking ewcm? Has a yellow tinge. I'm crampy too! I confirmed ovulation so I know it can't be that. Hope its a positive sign 🙏

I had this a few days ago it shocked me as it was yellow ish, not the norm.

@ohbaby3 fingers crossed it's a good sign for you. It's hard to tell with Cm if it's a sign or not. I ready an increase amount supposedly means your pregnant but both last month and this month I found myself with an increase. So only time will tell I guess

Is anyone aware of this theory of having sex around implantation time could affect the egg from implanting?

@Gab101 I was just reading about it there is nothing proving and not many studies to back it up they said it could be a possibility but then there are plenty of couples who went at it during TTW and they conceived fine so I think it's definitely just a theory. But I also read that sex is good if you had IVF and in TTW. Never know... Maybe can try though if we don't end up conceiving.

Has anyone heard of warm feet warm womb. I've just reading an article about a women who was infertile and did a few things to try boost her fertility. In traditional Chinese medicine they apparently say that a women needs to keep her feet warm so that her womb is warm. If your feet are cold so in your womb.

Yeah I was reading something and it said that the contractions caused from BD wether each partners reach climax can cause the egg not to implant. But hoping it's not true, because we BD today and I realised half way through that I'd read that and pushed him off! 😂

I'll definitely read that article!! TESTING TOMORROW. not got my hopes up too high but hoping for the best. Prob to early but I can't bloody wait anymore!! X

@Gab101 i hope not either we did it last night too haha 😂 I was planning on testing too can't wait any longer I know it's probably still earlier but we shall see then won't we best of luck testing though.

Also - my resting heart rate is normally 54-58bpm. Today it's 63... wonder if it's a sign!

@Gab101 there is a thread about that I haven't really check as I don't monitor my. I have however had an increase in my heart rate I can always hear it so loudly at the moment and also heart palpitations every now and then.

@Gab101 that's funny I did an cheapie yesterday morning negative too but here I was only wishing haha 😂 I think that's so funny 💜 I felt though if I implanted it was probably yesterday because of all the feelings I had. We definitely got this girl 🙏🏼

@Tiff94 sorry for the late reply! It wasn't my usual cm its was like ewcm snot like, with cramps, cramping has stopped and so has the mucus well so far it has! I don't 'feel' like I'm pregnant though unless of course its too early! Tuesday cant come quick enough 😆

@ohbaby3 you couldn't have ovulated later by any chance ? Are you regular cycle ?

Confirmed ovulation with opk, so no it was different to that mucus too. 🤨 Will wait it all out and see, yes regular cycles I was on the copper coil so didn't have any hormones in my contraception before ttc

I have given in and tested on a IC this morning 🙈 bfn obviously. Not surprised. There is this website that tells you % of positives of dpo and you can check different brands as well. It says I had a very low chance of getting a positive so keeping my hopes up www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/

@Alice222 that was me yesterday I didn't do it today didn't want to bum myself out haha 😂 your not out until AF arrives and I've heard IC aren't the best haha 😂 even thought that's what I use some stories I've heard if don't show up til almost 5/6weeks so you never know. All the best 💜💜

Thanks @Tiff94 I am going to wait until Monday to test again with a FRER. This is only my first month and I can't believe how obsessed I've gotten. Googling everything repeatedly. I imagine it doesn't get any easier each month. Hopefully we all get a bfp this month! 😊

I really can't imagine being able to NOT symptom spot or know when I'm ovulating/should start TTC!

Don't mean to hijack the thread but my cycles are very similar to you all!

Flo has said ovulation on 17th (window from 11th to 21st)

Ovia has given window of 13th to 18th

Both with AF due on 1st.

Only had small amount of watery discharge first thing in morning yesterday (ovulation day 17th).... is this what I'm looking for?

Also Cycle 1 TTC #1.... and a fellow British expat living abroad!

I'm feeling extra nauseous..... constant headache and I have a hot water bottle on my back and also very grumpy!

These days are dragging so much........

Well I read a few ppl had too a test so silly me at 6pm decided to do one with a cheapo £1 one I had left!! Why why why obv was meh!! But I honestly feel like will be next week even 😭😭
