Ovulation buddies starting July 8-14

Hey everyone,

Anyone else just started ovulation or about to start in the next week. Let's start a chat and keep ourselves busy as we head through ovulation and the dreaded 2WW.

Little about me this is my 2 cycle at TTC Baby no.1 I'm about to start ovulation on fri or sat, so going to make the most of this week. I've ordered some IC ovulation sticks hopefully will arrive in next couple days and I will give them a try out. What is everyone else doing to prepare themselves for ovulation???

@Gab101 try to think of the positive if you can. It obviously wasn't meant to be and I'm sure there a reason to it, just remember our body reject bad things for us so maybe it just was a bad egg so to speak and better for you now then later on. Don't lose hope keep trying I'm sure next time everything will be perfect and healthy for you xxx

I think I ovulated around 15/16th. Did a FRER this morning and I can’t decide if this is a faint line or an evap (I’m leaning more towards evap). I also used a clear blue OPK, I don’t actually know why, and it gave me a static smiley face which is the above test.

What do you ladies think?

@Baby2123 it could be positive then I've been doing opks and I'm pregnant and they come up super dark for me everytime is grab another test and do it again try afternoon urine on a 4hr+ hold I found that the most accurate beat of luck xx

@lastbany I recon you ovulated later then you thought. Which means it's still to early on the test wait it out then try again and as if not then contact gp the can do a test then xx

@Tiff94 thank you xx. It drives me crazy I just wish I knew! I did another this afternoon, only an internet cheepie and I think my eyes are just trying to see something now! I also did another OPK and the test line is now much stronger than the control line, I’ll upload a pic. I think I need to step away from POAS.

@Baby2123 I think I can see a faint line to on hcg but very faint this was mine though when my frers were stronger I barely got a dark like on the cheapies

@Tiff94 have you done any past couple days and got a strong line? Just wanting to compare obv we thought we ovulated on same day 🤣😩

Just wondered how dark you got caus last preg I took a frer the afternoon 6 days to period got very faint next morning a definite positive but obv very early ! But I never took any more toll 9week preg where I needed to do one for a procedure! So I have no reference for the cheapos I have one left gonna try first morning wee tomorow then if negative leave till following Monday of no af or positive contact doctor!

Ok.. ready for cycle 2 TTC

@lastbany I was considering buying some more cheapies from amazon just to check I've also been talking g with hubby I might book private and go for a scan earlier. Just to put myself at ease with everything I still half don't feel it's real.

@beckyBP good luck girl I started started pre conceptions ones last month and had DH take some too he's stopped straight after I ovulated haha said he didn't think he's need to more. He was right.

@beckyBP I have just started prepping for him and her ones I have been taking severn seas for a few months, bit never hurts to double up!
14dpo today for me, no AF yet due today, twinges and slightly sick moment today, but headache too so think was just bad work day. Ho hum. I am not going to test now and just wait, normally I do a test and then AF appears hahaha

My AF has arrived. yesterday I got bfp( very faint) and today AF. Is it chemical? I started feeling guilty maybe i should've done that this 😭😭😭

@Shinea I am having an ectopic after many BFP. Let me know your symptoms and I'll be sure to let you know what I think! I can even ask some nurses here if your suspicious. X

@Gab101 sorry for you, you are in my prayers!!
I m not having any symptoms apart from usual menstrual cramp which is not heavy as well but more than that I m having pain on my left side lower abdomen. But I had got BFP yesterday which was very very faint and today started bleeding. DH says that must be false positive.

I’m 12dpo and have a faint BFP!! I’m actually in shock. I thought the symptoms were in my head.

So I think af is on way today! Cramps have raved up again and when I wiped this morning pink tinge in tissue! I'm more mad than owt that it's added a week to my trying!! As if would have arrived on time I would be trying again in a week where as now I dunno where I am!!

Soo would you guys trust your body or ovulation tests? My clearblue monitor has only read low since my period ended (16 days ago) but yesterday I had EWCM. I don't know whether to stop using the monitor as my periods are irregular and they are known to not work as well if so.
