Ovulation buddies starting July 8-14

Hey everyone,

Anyone else just started ovulation or about to start in the next week. Let's start a chat and keep ourselves busy as we head through ovulation and the dreaded 2WW.

Little about me this is my 2 cycle at TTC Baby no.1 I'm about to start ovulation on fri or sat, so going to make the most of this week. I've ordered some IC ovulation sticks hopefully will arrive in next couple days and I will give them a try out. What is everyone else doing to prepare themselves for ovulation???

@lastbany thanks I will do that. Just got off the phone with my mum in Australia after telling her she's so excited but couldn't believe I wouldn't be seen by anyone for so long. I guess it a waiting game now. How are you feeling today any sign of AF? When you going to test ?

@Tiff94 it's really annoying isn't it! My baby not been seen since a month old! Can't get her weighed or anything I've weaned her alone everything I know I have other kids b they 17/12 so it's like been a first time mum! You feel very left! My sil has a baby 8 weeks ago so it's even worse for her had baby weighed after a week and Thts it she's bf so it's worrying but baby thriving so sure all is ok but you feel very left out in cold! I'm a nurse at a and e hospital my mat leave ends jan and I'm very worried to return esp if preg! So no AF still it's so wierd!! Just about to get dressed and have a walk to shop just finished baby bfast! Just hope can hold wee a bit caus a can't stop going but am sure it should show up now!! If it's neg it just must be AF playing nasty tricks

@lastbany ah so that's what I'm in for then. Thanks for the heads up. I guess it is hard with covid. I don't go many places for this reason. When I spoke with maternity unit they said to me if I have any bleeding or bad pains early to contact them otherwise they can't do anything. I know what you mean about holding on I've barely been able to last feed days when testing I feel like I'm about to burst. I really hope AF isn't playing tricks that was me last month and it really got to me I was two days late and I'm never late. Im praying you get positive today xx

@Tiff94 ye contact them straight away if any problems but sort form tht only thing I can say is try forget haha ye right! I know I'm never only when I was on pill etc period was all over but last 3 months back regular only goos thing for me is I have a baby to take my mind of it! So I'm not as obsessed as o was before I'll keep you posted x

@lastbany I bet baby does make it easier to not think constantly about it. I need to find something to distract me for awhile I think. Best of luck baby dust to you xx 👶 🤰

I took a CB test this morning as still no AF (Not common for me to be late) and I THINK I saw a super faint line.

Has anyone ever checked if you can see a super faint line prior to testing and I wondering if it's just the outline of the line ready does that make sense?

This is my first ever test!

@Tiff94 so annoying they only had these!! But surely at 2 days late it would show! Anyway on way home to see!

@beckyBP I never saw a faint line before in the CB but my line came out real faint with fmu and darker with afternoon.

@Tiff94 it's ok! If AF doesn't show o my thing I can think is the week after flo said I ovulated I started to get very watery cm and I thought waaat?! So unless i ovulated late can you ovulate the week before your AF? If so I would only be 7daypo so I dunno 🤷‍♀️🤣

@lastbany I've hear you can have two surges the first doesn't make the egg 🥚 move and so you body will automatically cause a second ovulation to realise it. So maybe that's what's happened it would be too early then. Let hope that's it for you.

@Tiff94 just looked (don't know why I didn't think before) and I ovulated day 18 with my last baby so maybe ? Would make me 9dpo if it's the same but who knows lol we see

@lastbany wait couple days see if AF arrives then retest try distract yourself

Just received my booking appointment for sept 1st will be on telephone and apparently my bloods and urine will be taken at scan

13 dpo today and took test early morning and saw evaporation line as soon as I took test(within timeframe)
First I thought I am hallucinating but faint transparent line was there,
I do not know should I take it as positive or was that BFN.
Unfortunately I couldn't take pic as I felt disappointed I discarded,
Still finger crossed.
Someone help me what it could be :(

@Shinea which test was it ? If it came up in the time could be a positive. Grab another test try later. I found afternoon wee better then fmu

@Tiff94 it was regular IC.
I have heard fmu are more concentrated and has high hcg, but I ll try taking test again now In sometime.
My AF is due tomorrow I ll take tomorrow too.

@Tiff94 though it was within timeframe but it was colorless so I am worried bit :(

@Shinea my ic never showed in the morning only in afternoon I tried 3 morning all blank afternoon faint lines were there

Just did my FRER and got a BFN next month for me I hope 🤞🏼

Did another FRER because I’m clearly a lunatic 😂

Can’t decide if I got the merest hint of a line or if it was the indent.
