Ovulation buddies starting July 8-14

Hey everyone,

Anyone else just started ovulation or about to start in the next week. Let's start a chat and keep ourselves busy as we head through ovulation and the dreaded 2WW.

Little about me this is my 2 cycle at TTC Baby no.1 I'm about to start ovulation on fri or sat, so going to make the most of this week. I've ordered some IC ovulation sticks hopefully will arrive in next couple days and I will give them a try out. What is everyone else doing to prepare themselves for ovulation???

@Littlehelper101 did you just do it? Try with first urine from 5am x

@Littlehelper101 don't feel to out I'm 2days off AF and only have a faint line you literally barely can see I'm not even sure if it's there every other day I've hand blank white so maybe still early for you.

The one which measure from 10 mui I will save going away for the weekend so will distract my brain.

Hoping your right and that I'm too early 🤞I actually am embarrassed at the amount of tests I've done this month. 100% if this time is not successful I will not buy and become obcessive it's so difficult not too and this is my first cycle.

It really puts things into perspective for the people who take a very long time ttc - sending BIG love!

Just read that FRER? Detects from 6.5!!!

I wa shuts reading that your hcg levels double every 72hours so if your out a day or 2 on ovulation it can make it show a little later then expected and maybe still to early to show up wait a day to two then test again I would say.

Okay ladie did another FRER this afternoon after like a 3.5hr hold. I can see the line for sure in this one but I saw a shadow of the line on it even before doing the test do you think it could be faulty maybe ?

@Tiff94 no I honestly think it's positive with my last baby I took a frear 6 days before af was due and o took it at around 4pm and I saw exactly the same! I decided to take the other first thing next morning (5days to af) and was a lot darker! I think will just be because it's late on in day x

@Tiff94 when I used a FRER the other day I could see a shadow of a line before I used it but after I used it, the line disappeared and I couldn't see it, a definite BFN. So maybe not faulty. The line you got also looks a little pink to me as well but not sure if that's just the photo. Fingers crossed for you!!!

Thanks girls the line has definitely darkened now it's very clear so I'm taking it a it's positive. I'm in a little shock I think still don't think it's real waiting to do the CB tomorrow morning now before I tell my DH don't want to excite him just in case

Update

I had a blood test done they called me back up!
Results released online at 10:00pm tonight. So I will see what my HCG is.......

Very very intrigued!!!!!!!!

Will update tonight although it will be 2 am in the UK.

It's just a standard HCG pregnancy test (blood).

The ones you would get in the UK but from a doctor note but I think they only give you them for special reasons or if you X amount of days late.

To confirm I'm in first cycle not IVF! I know the odds are super slim first time and all but let's wait and see!

In Brazil you can literally pay £6 to get this test done in a local laboratory.... if there is more than 6 mui in my blood then I'm pregnant.... it detects pregnancy very early on.

I'm now 11/12- DPO based upon FLOW app and Clearblue static smiley / CM.

I would say I have never felt so many symptoms persistent bloating and gas since last week and nausea without fail every morning. I said to my DH if I'm not that I have some serious hormonal issues that need to be seen too!!! My sister keeps saying it sounds like I have IBS 😪🤣

So tested this morning with a CB and it's a BFP 😬😍😍💜💜 I still can't believe it will call gp today and get them to confirm. Can't wait to hear all the next BFPs baby dust 👶 all round

Congrats for all the BFPs 🤩😍
Here I am 13 dpo today and having more of leg and lower abdomen cramp.
I had cramping on 2 days prior to ovulation(cd 10) then at 6dpo and now today on 13 dpo also I have bit of bloating especially during night and my AF is due on this Sunday. I am thinking to hold off till AF or maybe take a test tomorrow.
Anyone had similar symptoms?

@Shinea I've been bloated the last week. Cramping on and off after ovulation also have like a stitch like pain sometimes and feel like I can feel my whole stomach moving around.

@Tiff94 same pain but dont want to symptoms spot, but cant withhold thinking about it all the time 😅 this time have decided to test after AF is missed.
Let's see if I can hold myself back until then 😅

@Shinea yes probably best to wait til after it's missed instead of disappointment when you see bfn. Best of luck for you 🤞

@lastbany have you had any AF symptomsi had none and due tomorrow.

Hi all - hopefully someone can shed some light on this before I go down the google rabbithole. I've been using the CBFM (started last month and got mostly highs and no peak but I've read that's common as it's learning my cycle).. this month I'm on day 9 of testing and I'm still on low. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Yesterday I noticed a change in my discharge (it was slightly thicker but didn't last) and I after one wee during the day I saw spotting when I wiped.

@Tiff94 had cramps few days back I'm very bloated strange thing is I have been weeing like a race horse!! Littally up 3 tiles in night all my normal pregnancy symptoms got mild cramping today but again always had tht when been pregnant so it's very strange but last time I tested positive 6 days before af so I'm pretty sure I'm out!

@ladylouez so have you ovulated yet or are you still trying to figure that out. ? Most of us here I think only just started opks this month to. I used the cheap ones from amazon and I never saw my peak but I knew when I ovulated. Which was back two week ago.

@lastbany your not out until AF arrives. That's pretty much been me the last week. Can't stop peeing barely can hold on, need to go do many times in a day.
