@Katecolx we did TTC may- nov last year then IVF started Mid dec with the drugs to stop my cycle and eventually embryo put in February '20, BFP late feb MMC March. So TTC again since then. So TTC naturally about 10 cycles bit all messed up & I know I'm broken 🤷‍♀️

@Vil10 yes I have used SMEP the last few cycles at first it was fine but it did become a bit of a pressure cooker so the last cycle I told OH when I thought I'd get my peak and just let him initiate but ended up getting peak on CD13 and pretty much on plan but didn't do the 3rd in the row this time x

@KateColx yeah I'm just taking it all in bitsize pieces, if i make it to 5weeks with a positive test I'll start letting the excitement creep in a bit more. Although DP has already been showing me colour swatches for the nursery ☺️ also what is the Instagram announcement going to look like? I used to insta story a lot and had an idea of what my post would look like but the MC kinda tarnished it and have been off instagram since so think I'll be waiting until baby is here now 😂 xx

We wouldn't for another either, for DS we did one with best friend & put a big disclaimer saying "in any normal circumstance we wouldn't do this BUT seeing as someone else is doing something so amazing, and bearing in mind she's getting awkward comments and fielding questions of "thank you but it's not actually my baby I'm growing 😂🙈😳, not my husbands" we feel we ought to explain"...so we did it across both of our feeds. To this day though a few of her patients ask how her baby is 😬& some of her husband's colleagues asked if my husband had "knobbed his missus". Genuinely shocking he didn't punch them.

Yes @blodyn91 we wouldn't have done it otherwise as risks are too high of someone getting attached to a child they bear if they aren't done having their own family, even if not related, it's very frowned upon in surrogacy even if like us she wasn't a surrogate before. She has 2 children, they were our flower girl & page boy at our wedding, they were 8 & 6 & knew she was growing a baby for us as my tummy isn't good, at the birth & her eldest even helped at the home birth, touching our son first, patting him down with a towel with the midwife before he was passed to me for skin to skin & I cut the cord. It was amazing. 💕🥰

It's been a while since I posted and caught up with everyone. Congratulations those that have had positive tests.

Unfortunatly AF turned up on Sunday, so I guess onto the next cycle we go.

Things haven't been great here since OH retuned from deployment. I'm slowly getting to the bottom of things, but have felt really rejected by him. All turns out it was because he started smoking again while on deployment and knows how much I hate it. So didn't want to kiss or cuddle me, incase I smelt it on him.

I'm pretty much back to a full working week but the school holidays are nearly here!!
