Age gap

My husband and I recently had our first baby, and although baby is only a few weeks old, we have started talking about when we would like to add to our family.

What would you say is a good (or bad) age gap to have between kids? We're leaning towards a smaller age gap but would love to get the opinions of people that have experience with second children

I have a 10 year old, 8 year old and 5 year old. There are 19 months between the eldest 2, and 2.5 years between middle and youngest.

I loved the 19 month age gap, (although hated the double buggy lol), but then I also loved It when my eldest was 4 when my youngest was born as she became my little helper! The 19 month age gap meant I still had 2 in nappies, whereas when my youngest was born I only had that one in nappies.

I’d say there are pros and cons to both smaller and larger age gaps. But ultimately whichever you end up with you’ll make it work and you’ll enjoy it!
