Coming off Cerazette and Tracking Apps

Hi I’m new to all this an am learning a lot from these forums!

I came off cerazette about a month ago having been on it for around 10 years with no periods.

No sign of a period yet (in theory due any time now) but experiencing a lot of symptoms (mainly to my boobs!).

I have signed up to Flo to try and understand changes to my body better... anyone know how to record coming off the pill on these apps or do I need to wait for the period?

Would welcome anyone’s experience coming off this pill? Seems very mixed reviews!

Thanks in advance!

@Cydney31 I am the same I’m guessing it is down to moving less, plus working from home doesn’t help! I’m still trying to diet and loose weight mainly because I’m struggling to fit into my cloths and as I can’t afford a new wardrobe...Diet it is 😂

I haven’t started to cut anything out yet, I still haven’t got around to getting in an prenatal vitamins, not even too sure what & when I should start taking 🤔

Sexnotgender · 08/07/2020 07:55

I’ve started taking folic acid with B12, I’m vegetarian and B12 is hard to get enough of on a vegetarian diet.

I’ve also taken up running, on week 6 of couch to 5k. Could ideally do with losing about a stone. I’m a size 12 but would like to be a 10!

Sarahp2308 · 08/07/2020 11:09

@Sexnotgender thanks for that, I don’t really eat much meat so I will look into the B12!

I could also do with losing about a stone, I thought stopping the pill would help but I’m still raiding the biscuit tin far too often 😂 I may take up running, I don’t fancy the gym even when they do open they are pretty dirty places even pre COVID

Sexnotgender · 08/07/2020 11:53

I highly recommend couch to 5k, I hated running, but actually really enjoying it.

There’s a support thread on here if you do decide to do it.

Sarahp2308 · 08/07/2020 12:29

Thank you! I could definitely do with some motivation!

Cydney31 · 08/07/2020 19:34

@Sexnotgender
Great shout!! Thanks :)

I am considering going for a run on Friday morning although I’m pretty sure I run like Phoebe from friends 🤣

As long as you enjoy yourself who cares!

Joining in here if that’s ok! I’ve been off Cerelle now for 2 weeks.. no withdrawal bleed or any sign of AF yet! Hoping it doesn’t take forever as we are TTC our first x

Cydney31 · 08/07/2020 22:00

As a general rule I only usually run when being chased 😂😂😂

Is everyone trying for their 1st or do we have some lucky mums on here too who have already been blessed with children? Love to find out more about everyone :)

We’re trying for our first. I’m 31- partner 35. We Were meant to be having one last summer blow out and spending 6 weeks in South America... but seen as were now stuck in rainy Leeds for the foreseeable 😂🙈 thought it was time to get on with things :) And hopefully making a little fam.
Now feels right. We got engaged at xmas- been together 7 years, done a lot of partying etc. What bout everyone else? I’m nosey lol :)

Sexnotgender · 08/07/2020 22:10

I’ve already got 2. A 16 year old daughter and a 17 month old son.

Sexnotgender · 08/07/2020 22:11

I’m 38 so better get cracking if I want another one😂

Sarahp2308 · 09/07/2020 08:44

We are trying for our first, exciting but nerve wrecking at the same time 😬 I’m 28 (29 next month) and my partner is 30. It’s definitely the right time, we’ve been together 12 years this year, engaged for 2! Just secured a great deal on our new fixed deal mortgage term (one positive from COVID) and my employer has a pretty good maternity package so no reason not to really!

Cornertakenquickly · 09/07/2020 11:25

First for us too although my husband has a 5 year old from a previous relationship.
I'm 35 and he is 36 we got married in February and were supposed to honeymoon in Florida in Sept and had agreed to try after that but Covid happened so I've came off the pill now instead.

Sarahp2308 · 10/07/2020 06:53

AF/break trough bleed finally arrived this morning! Strange combination of feeling relived that it has finally turned and remembering the joys of AF

Cornertakenquickly · 10/07/2020 09:55

@Sarahp2308 I'm glad that she made an appearance for you. Grin

Sarahp2308 · 10/07/2020 10:45

@Cornertakenquickly So am I to be honest, it was starting to drive me mad! Atleast I finally have some information to put into my tracking APP! Currently using Flo does anybody use any other apps?

Cydney31 · 10/07/2020 18:05

I’m just using Flo at the moment too, might get some ovulation tests next month if not successful this month. Will probably help me to work out if flo is accurate? :) just started taking folic acid and vitamin d today too.

Sexnotgender · 10/07/2020 18:06

I’m using flo too, it’s what I used last time.

EllaBella87 · 10/07/2020 20:00

I can understand why people wait for a cycle before TTC!

I'm two weeks in and this week I've had nausea and cramps then sore boobs the last two days. It could be either withdrawal, my period coming or I'm pregnant but it feels way too early for that.

I'm using Ovia to track and it did say I was ovulating right when we started DTD but I have no idea what data it had to decide that other than my temperature which is all over the shop!

Sarahp2308 · 10/07/2020 21:11

@Cydney31 I’ve got some ovulation tests going to just check it on the days the app says I should be ovulating!

@EllaBella87 I’ve been feeling exactly the same for the last 3-4 weeks then this morning AF appeared the wait is awful because you do start thinking what if? I did try to buy a pregnancy test just incase but they were all sold out in my local savers...impending baby boom maybe?
