We've been TTC for 10 months and now my period is late, but I've done two pregnancy tests and both have been negative. I'm trying really hard not to get my hopes up, but if I am pregnant is it possible the tests just aren't showing as positive yet?

I've also been eating fewer calories and exercising more recently, so I'm conscious that could be the reason for the delayed period. But, I've only cut down to 1500 calories a day with a 30 minute work out 5 days a week, a 60 minute workout 1 day a week and a rest day so nothing excessive.

Period started today. So disappointed.

Goodluck to everyone still waiting to find out.

Hi there, my period was due on 25 June, but it's still not arrived. Tests are still saying negative. It's so confusing. I'm just continuing to test every few days. The one I used today said it was over 99% accurate. But can't understand why my period is so late, when it's been regular my whole life.

newgirl14 · 07/07/2020 10:07

Any updates from anyone today? BFN on a FRER this morning. Feeling so crappy and confused

Genuinely think somehow I've just not bled as my OPKs are getting stronger

GhostPenguin · 07/07/2020 10:26

@caithnini I'm sorry to hear that. Wishing you luck for next cycle xx

@eyebrowsofinstagram welcome to the club! I'm 8 days late today. No idea what's going on. Another BFN yesterday so I'm going to wait it out another few days before testing again.

@newgirl14 that's strange... I know it's possible to miss a period, I can't really understand how though. I've got some OPKs arriving today, I've never used them before so that'll be fun!

Hi everyone, my update is that after 9 days of bfps on FRER, AF arrived this morning. So, my suspicions of chem were realised. Next time I'm not testing until missed period (even though my period was late anyway this time so Confused)

WRT everyone else with a late AF - I hope clarity comes soon. I guess the stress of it all isn't helping any of us. Hope everyone is feeling OK today.

SC1989 · 07/07/2020 13:37

Sorry to hear that @Namenamename2020 , I'm jumping in on this thread. I'm a few days late. Feel like it's on its way but I'm usually quite regular. 3 negative tests so far. I'm not doing another!

Gingerandjasmine · 07/07/2020 17:20

BFN today but AF is yet to arrive until tomorrow (according to my app as I get irregular cycles from 24 - 32 ) No idea when ovulated but the app suggested cycle day 15 and I DTD cycle 8/9... Been feeling tired, nauseous and had cramping the last three days !

I have been calorie counting and exercising more too, I have lost 20lbs since lockdown started :) although my periods have been rather regular up till now!
Will see if AF makes her arrival and will test again in three days, if I can wait that long Grin

LemonDrizzle44 · 07/07/2020 18:50

I'm now 2 days late and the cramps I've had are easing off. I'm trying to hold out until Friday (5 days late) before retesting.

Wolfgirrl · 07/07/2020 18:52

Got mine on CD 22 out of a 26 day cycle Hmm which has always confused me.

1940s · 07/07/2020 20:00

If this exercise regime is new, even if it's relatively low key it's a high chance of it delaying ovulation. I added a few long walks into one week last month and ovulation was delayed by a full week, turning my 32 day cycle into 41!

newgirl14 · 10/07/2020 09:33

11 days late for me today...haven't test since Tuesday but had EWCM last night....
