BFP then BFN

Hi all,

Hoping you can help as my GP isn't helping much!
I have 29 day cycles, 4 days bleeding and cramps around 2 days before.
Last month, I had no cramps and started a light bleed around 6 days early, I thought this was really strange but just presumed it was my period. I didn't feel right and a day after I finished bleeding I took a pregnancy test and got a BFN.
Then last week I felt light headed all week and kept thinking to myself I don't feel normal, Saturday night I started suffering from a UTI so thought I should take a test the next morning which I did.
I used a boots early detection one, it went negative straight away so I threw it in the bin, about an hour later I don't know why but I checked it and it was positive, I then went and brought CB digitals that afternoon and got a BFP 1-2 weeks. We were over the moon. Sunday night we decided to do another test which was then a BFN but I presumed that was because it was evening wee and I hadn't held my wee in or anything. Monday morning comes and we get another BFP 1-2 weeks, by this point my UTI is causing me a lot of discomfort so I call the doctors Tuesday and get some antibiotics.
I've had some twinges that feel like they're coming from my ovaries and feel so tired.
I still feel so unsure so I did a cheap test from Home Bargains today and got a BFN and now feel so rubbish.
Anyone got any idea what could be going on?
I've seen people talk about chemical pregnancies but does that happen early? If my last bleed wasn't period then it's been 5 weeks 5 days since my last period.

Hello!

Sorry to hear what's happening. I had the same this month several positive tests then a negative. I unfortunately had a chemical pregnancy/miscarriage. I contacted my doctor who has been quite supportive. It maybe worth waiting a few more days and retesting with an early response test x

@krj2608 thank you and I'm sorry to hear you had the same experience.
So do you think the bleed was losing the pregnancy?

No idea for you, but what happened I started bleeding very heavy tmi. My gp actually sent me for blood tests this week to check for pregnancy as they were concerned it may have been a twin pregnancy due to feeling sick and my boobs started leaking milk. The test came back negative so they put it down to a miscarriage and settling of hormones.

I was told to do a test every few days to check hormone levels x
