Luteal Phase Spotting and BFP

Does anyone else have regular spotting post ovulation?

And to entertain me further and get my pessimistic arse off the floor, who has got their BFP after their usual spotting?

Nope sorry. I always spot a few days before and the two times I have been pregnant (1 successful, 1 not) I haven't had the usual spotting.

I've never had any spotting before a positive test. For me it was complete lack of any symptoms that meant I was pregnant. I've been pregnant 4 times, I spotted at 6 weeks with the first but went on to have a healthy pregnancy, third time I spotted around the same time but miscarried at nearly 7 weeks.

I spot before my period sometimes, usually a couple of days before. Sorry if that isn't the answer you wanted to hear.

Hi OP - I have 2 older DC and since the second one stopped breastfeeding I have spotted on and off for the entire luteal phase. Now I'm in a new relationship and TTC. I have low progesterone and this is the first month of trying progesterone pessaries.
I'm fairly sure I'm not pg but it's definitely stopped the spotting.
I did have a BFP with the spotting (it was much much less that month) but it was a CP

Hi, I am the same as you spot every month before period, I have asked a similar question and lots of people have had their normal spotting before getting a bfp so that has gave me hope I don’t write myself off at the sight of spotting now. I have started B6 this month to try and stop/delay the spotting as I’m not sure if my LP is shortened because of the spotting. I’ll give anything a shot at this point 10ttc I’m desperate lol.

Thanks for your answers! My progesterone is apparently fine, I wonder if it's my cervical ectropion causing a little spotting.

Hi i dont normally have any spotting. But the month i got a bfp i did spot 2dpo/3dpo i did end up having a chemical pregnancy though

paintfairy · 02/07/2020 21:19

I get spotting. Sometimes it's more like bleeding than spotting. If I'm lucky it starts 11dpo and if not its as early as 7dpo onwards. Varies by month. I have cervical erosion too. I do worry about it being low progesterone though.

So far not had a bfp so can't help there.

Thanks for all your answers! So it seems there's no real rhyme or reason to spotting.

My spotting this month has been a lot less than usual: bright red watery spot last night (after two days of on/off cramping) and brown this morning, but I think that's old blood that's hung about since last nights red blood appearance.

Any more experiences?
