Drinking in TWW

Hi ladies, hope everyone is keeping well - what do we think about drinking alcohol in the TWW? 😳

I feel like views on this are really mixed...

Not sure if you're familiar with Emily Oster's book, Expecting Better? She analyses medical studies and says that drinking in the two week wait will not negatively impact a pregnancy's outcome (i.e too early for any fetal alcohol problems) but heavy drinking could result in the pregnancy not sticking. She recommends keeping it light, like 1 drink once or twice a week.

... but maybe the women were just more relaxed??

I was drinking lightly during the first two cycles and now on my third cycle of trying, I'm not. Planning to comfort myself with some wine if/when AF arrives!

I unknowingly drank throughout my TTW and first couple of weeks with my eldest. In my defense, I didn't think I was pregnant and had a negative test before a big night out.
