I just wrote back to @Cocoblue22 a long message and then I clicked off the thread I'm totally not writing it again as I've had loads to catch up on😂🙈

KateColx · 02/07/2020 13:24

@Sausage1990 sorry AF has shown lovely 😔 we all know how horrible that feeling is. Like the other girls have said, take a couple of days to pamper and treat yourself. Then get yourself ready for the next cycle, are you going to add anything new in for the next cycle? I find that always helps to keep me excited ✨💛

@Vil10 keeping everything crossed all your signs are good and there's no spotting ☺️ mines not due until the 10th so a bit longer to wait, although AF was a few days late last month so if it's based on that, it might actually be a bit before 😩

I ran down the stairs at work and my boobs hurt so much, I get sore boobs the day before AF normally so it's throwing me 😩 x

DAC21 · 02/07/2020 13:25

So good to see you back @TTCmummy2021! Work must be so busy for you, hope it makes next week fly by. All fingers crossed that the aspirin will make the difference this month. Wife is doing well, very tired most of the time but coping well. She had to go back to work this week, not sure how she will cope in the long run.

@Katao I feel like I can see a faint pink line at the top of where it should be? Hope tomorrow will bring a clear line!

This morning I realised that one difference between our unsuccessful tries and the success last month was that my wife started taking Floradix every day a few months ago and is still taking it. It is a bit pricey, but helped us get through a terrible winter cold we weren't able to shift for weeks. She continues taking it because her irons were a bit low. Maybe nothing to do with TTC but thought would share.

lucyrp · 02/07/2020 13:26

Also @Sausage1990 sorry AF has come 😫

Katao · 02/07/2020 13:26

@beck84 agree with the girls, take a pregnancy test as the bleed could well have been implantation bleeding.

Welcome @Lara87 🖐
@Sausage1990 so sorry about af! So hard when it arrives early and you are still inbthe hopeful stage.
@Minster2012 I'm not sure its dropping progesterone as I have been sick before af due when I have been pregnant too so personally I can't take it as an indication either way.

I love all you sensible people telling me to test again in a few days meanwhile I'm over here contemplating a 4 hour hold 😂 I think I'm clutching at straws though, I squinted at the damn thing from all angles at every window in the house and there really is f**k to squint at! Might be time to get a grip

2alreadywantanother · 02/07/2020 13:27

Reading all but to many to look back and tag sorry.

My 1st, we weren't actively trying but we weren't not trying.
I wasn't doing opk or anything. Didnt have a clue to be honest.
Mentioned to my gp that nothing had happened and she checked my bloods. I'd an underactive thyroid and put on meds and low and behold I got pregnant. Then got pregnant with the 2nd fairly quick. That was 12yrs ago.
The reason I'm on these threads now is I'm older. Near 40 and we are actually ttc.
So no harm if you havent had your bloods done or seen a gp maybe booking in

Minster2012 · 02/07/2020 13:33

@Katao yeah I know it's dr fecking google that says that. If AF isn't here tomorrow though I may just take the plunge & test though for shits & giggles I didn't want to waste an FRER when I was told I hadn't ovulated. If I were you I would wait lovely but I know it's hard, wait for that doubling

Cocoblue22 · 02/07/2020 13:38

@Sausage1990 we're all here for you 💙 and I always find a good cry and a day to get yourself together helps don't be afraid to cry because it's healthy to deal with those feelings then you can move on. Do something nice today (if I were you id buy some Oreo chocolate and watch a nice film and spend some chill time with OH. Time will heal and you'll already start feeling more positive tomorrow and then have a nice fresh cycle to plan and look forward to x

@SmileyT perfect plan 🤞🏻 for an August BFP for you (or July but since you prefer August I'm hopeful that's the one for you and it would make your holiday plans fit perfectly) x

@lucyrp ohhhh booo now I'm wondering what you said x

Sausage1990 · 02/07/2020 13:43

@newbie0818 I just found this really interesting page when researching into helping boost progesterone to maybe lengthen my LP back to 12days and I came across this info about insulin resistance and PCOS, and how metformin (a diabetes medication) can be really helpful. I've attached the specific info in a photo but I'll share the link below. The advice is backed my research and as a health care professional myself, I'm really keen that any advice I follow does have evidence to back it because it gives me more confidence in it. If that makes sense.

I think I'm going to add some high dose Vitamin C (750mg) to my supplement regime and maybe look at Vitamin E too. I have read something else about Magnesium but I've not seen any research about that yet. I'm guna keep looking though 😊

lucyrp · 02/07/2020 13:48

@Cocoblue22 it was something about how I feel om edge if the thread doesn't reach 1k too😂

Sausage1990 · 02/07/2020 13:51

@Cocoblue22 I'm already feeling a bit better. I've had a little cry (actually after all the lovely supportive messages from you guys), had nice bath and watched some Netflix.

Thank you to all the tags and kind works from everyone, it's made me feel so much less distraught. Honestly you ladies are the best 💕
And yes @Katecolx as you can see above I've done some research and am planning to get a few vitamins to try for this next cycle.

I'm also going away for a few days next week, only to my parents holiday home in West Wales because Wales is finally living the distance limit, and my in laws are coming with my niece who's 15 months old so I'm really looking forward to spending time with them 😊

Sausage1990 · 02/07/2020 13:53

@newbie0818 it would help if I actually attached the photo 🤣🤣

SmileyT · 02/07/2020 13:54

Update from me, unlike @KateColx I do not have sore boobs so I'm currently in my office flicking my boob to try and get some form of symptom 😂

@Sausage1990 wrote a reply to you but saw you'd done your own much better research so I'll just say focussing on the next cycle is the best way to get through AF x

@blodyn91 more bbt porn 😍 the RHR on FF isn't free but you do get a 30 day free trial, I love it, think I paid like £15 for the year after the trial so not bad.

@beck84 when ttc always take a pregnancy test before wondering what else could be up 🙌🏾 x

@notyetamumyetbuttrying @juno231 @katao thank you for replying.... I have read a lot on IP but my bleeding was like the start of a period only with (tmi) dark brown stringy things in it, there was red blood though so i have ruled it out... i don't even know why i broke my silence really just wondered if anyone else had experienced it. I think i will wait till middle of next week and then maybe do one.
I am glad i have broke my silence now though so i can join in with all your smutty talk ha

Juno231 · 02/07/2020 13:58

@blodyn91 ah now I remember. That does suck timing wise, I'm sorry! I wonder if some of us will still be on here when you come back :(

@lucyrp you should be banned from posting pics of HPTs - I nearly had a heart attack there thinking you finally confirmed a BFP!!

Cocoblue22 · 02/07/2020 13:59

@lucyrp I'm so glad lots of you feel the same and that allows me to conclude that I am not crazy....well not for thinking that anyways 🤪 the jury is still out as to whether I am in actual fact batshit crazy on every other level 🤣 x

@SmileyT I also have an absence of sore boobage! Just given them a prod nope feel normal boo! X

Welcome to all the newbies too 👋🏻 x

2alreadywantanother · 02/07/2020 14:03

@SmileyT and @Cocoblue22 same, just had a feel 😂😂 all okay here.

blodyn91 · 02/07/2020 14:05

@Sausage1990 750mg! Just looked quickly my pills supply 60mg, strawberries for brekkie +50, orange for 11s +50, brocolli/ kale/ spimach +100, potato of some sort +20, tomato +10, beetroot +10. Thats me so far for today. No where near!

lucyrp · 02/07/2020 14:11

@Juno231 I knew someone would be like "congrats!" I had already braced myself for that 😂😂🙈

lucyrp · 02/07/2020 14:12

@Cocoblue22 you are not crazy don't worry 😂x

blodyn91 · 02/07/2020 14:13

@2alreadywantanother I had some yesterday 🙈 and usually I am constipated at this stage! but trying not to read up any symptoms this cycle 😂
@SmileyT I would definitely get it if I was TTC for a few more rounds, looks good. Ive got FF now and input all my data 😂
@Sausage1990 and sorry was it you that asked if I was welsh? Yes I am 😊 I live in Shropshire now though. My hen do will be in Aberystwyth. Love Cardiff though!

2alreadywantanother · 02/07/2020 14:17

@blodyn91 it was completely out of the blue. No dodgy timmy or that. That's why I looked it up. But then again if u look up sore finger and ttc someone will have had it 😂😂

Katao · 02/07/2020 14:17

Sorry I missed out a couple of messages when I was replying last time. I know exactly what you mean @lucyrp I do feel like even if it is a faint line then that faintness might not be a good sign. Keeping my emotions in check.
@DAC21 yes! You see what i see. The faintest of lines but a little colour to the top of it. It's really questionable but I'll just have to wait and see.

I'm trying to be patient @Minster2012 but I'm an overthink at the best of times! I feel for you because the bloods been at 19 days instead of 21 leaves the door open a crack to let in all the maybes and what ifs. Plus the spotting. I xan understand why it's messing with your head.

Vil10 · 02/07/2020 14:20

@KateColx I feel so tempted to test tomorrow at 11dpo but I know I need to hold out!! All your symptoms sound positive though! I'm excited for you!! Hopefully it's not af and just a symptom🤞🏼x

@Sausage1990 so sorry af has arrived! But keep positive and onwards to the next cycle!x

Vil10 · 02/07/2020 14:22

Still no af cramps today and I had them at this time last cycle, feel like I'm just clutching at straws trying to believe that I could actually be preggo! I'm going to be scared for tomorrow in case I get af cramps, I'll be fuming😂 had like an on off mild dull ache on the inside of my left hip today, a bit like a light stitch feeling??
