@Vil10 awww Cassius is beautiful!! Such a gorgeous doggie. It's definitely helpful for the tww as they keep you so busy haha. Our little Milo is so needy right now so I've barely had a chance to think about symptoms spotting 🤣 you wouldn't know how naughty he is by looking at him!

@TTCmummy2021 you definitely deserve a nice chilled summer, and plenty of wines and gins and vodka and chocolate!! Some parents are busy body's aren't they!! Don't realise how hard it is when you're doing all that you can already!

@Skip86 @mumof23188 @DKDK123 my OH said he just couldn't leave him and I'm so glad he didn't!! Even though there is now 2 dogs and when the weathers like this horrible and rainy there are a lot more muddy paw prints everywhere but id take that any day over him being killed!! He's definitely found his forever home with us!

@Vil10 heartbreaking how people just think they’re disposable. Bless your OH. He looks very happy in his new forever home and lovely he has a playmate. We have two dogs and the mess they make is outrageous 😂

@Katao aww Thankyou!! I'm so glad he brought him home now, don't think we'd ever forgive ourselves if he left him! I know it's so so cruelisn't it!! I understand they use them for work but I don't understand how someone can't form a bond with a dog they are with, let alone being happy enough to shoot him!!x

@Newbie0818 yep he's definitely kept me occupied, it's how I'd imagine having a baby to be like, even though he's not a pup and he's house trained, it's getting him used to our home and his bed and new commands and new people so we're constantly watching him😂

@mumof23188 isn't it, it's just cruel, I could never do that!! They love each other but our other fur baby is 11 and is like a grumpy old man but still full of life, sometimes when Cass wants to play with Mac, Mac just flops down and ignores him😂 oh god isn't it!! Do you ever just feel like your house won't be clean again??

@vil10 Cass is gorgeous! We go shooting more informally than on big commercial shoots & know many a gamekeeper & none we know would be so cruel as to shoot a dog they'd sell them as non working dogs, ours are v much spoilt sofa dogs too

So what lovely plans are afoot tonight then? My DH is meeting a friend at ours I think one who has also been shielding due to chrons & as I thought AF was on the way I got a meal for 2 with wine from Tesco in to make life easy with Belgian choc cheesecake for dessert but only the tiniest hint on wiping so far 🤷‍♀️😬

@Vil10 it is unbelievably cruel. How anyone can shoot a dog is beyond me. Haha ah that’s cute 😂 glad they get along and love each other. Yes after hoovering and mopping it takes around half hour then it’s dirty again. Especially when the weather is rubbish like it is 🙈

I'm on the very busy train home from work, unfortunately I'm working tomorrow to get a day off next week for my hair appt 💁🏾‍♀️it's a 5hr slog and don't want to use any holiday days as want to carry as many as possible for possible maternity next year. So tonight will likely be Netflix and chilling ✌🏾

@mumof23188 glad it's not just me! Feel like I go through a bottle of zoflora every 3 days!! And I'm constantly paranoid the house smells of dogs so always have candles and wax melts burning!

@SmileyT they definitely do, I said that to the OH, imagine how protective they'd be when we get pregnant, 2 dogs and 2/3 babies would be ideal for me, I love noise and crazy!!

I'm so sorry for anyone who got a BFN today- fingers crossed it was just too early! AF arrived today at 14dpo but I'm actually relieved as I knew I wasn't pregnant and was just waiting. Plus that means I just had a 35 day cycle which is so so much better than 46,16 or 43! 😊

@Vil10 that's good that he's house trained! We're literally starting from scratch with everything and it's exhausting 😂 god knows how I'll cope with a human baby!

@minster2012 don't know if someone already replied to you about the 11/12dpo implantation - but essentially these late implantations have an 82%+ risk of miscarriage so probs best to ignore them and if you're in the lucky 18% not to get a CP then you'll be pleasantly surprised 🙊

@vil10 we've got 2, the cockapoo who was my 30th present from DH who said I could choose a dog for me as long as it could go shooting so I said "errrr a fluffy spaniel?" He does go but he prefers beating than picking up. So we got a random rare pointer for him as a gundog but one that would also be a great house dog in case we failed at training her! A Slovakian rough haired pointer. She ended up being 8 months old when DS arrived & they love each other. They are currently slumming it- this is now

@Juno231 I think that 82% is based on implanting on day 12 rather than testing on day 12, you might implant on day 9 or 10 and still not get a positive test at 12dpo 🙌🏾 also I'm not sure how extensive the studies these figures are based were 🧐

@Mococo1 you could've if you have quite a quick surge I'd probably keep testing over the next few days to see if they get darker x

This is my baby paige. 2 yrs ago I wanted a baby or a dog so this happened 😂😂 shes a rescue baby and so good. She was been taken in to be put down. The vet says why, cause the neighbours dogs go mad when shes in heat. The vet says just spay her. She said they couldn't be bothered. So a rescue took her in. She was that badly matted she had to be completely shaved. Shes well and truly part of our family 😍
And now we are ttc 😂

All these stats obv need a pinch of salt with them but if you search for it the related medical journal pops up too so at least it's not just an MN myth 😅

These doggy stories are so sad @Vil10 like @Minster2012 I have only met working dogs with owners that will care for them their entire life! My parents have 5, a almost retired grandad collie who is on expensive special food for his kidney stones, but loves gathering sheep so much he spends most days on the quad with dad. Then 2 more collies. A little rascal of a terrier and a working lab. With another hunterway currently not born on the way. They all live in kennels but love cuddles and attention, they are only in their kennels at night really, spend most the day out working or snoozing in the porch.
I am 100% a dog person, or sheep or cows 😂
Heres a photo of our pet lamb that couldn't walk after birth, my mum gave her physio, and now another ewe has adopted her 😊 When she was little she slept in the porch with the dogs and run around with them, wish I could share the video.(Im animal mad so can share animal stories and photos all day)

@2alreadywantanother how gorgeous 🥰😍& Paige is a gorgeous name too! Dogs & kids work don't worry, our cockapoo isn't really fussed with DS, he just stays out the way most of the time whereas the pointer & him are so funny together 😂

I'm still confused as to why a late implantation is bad...do they result in more miscarriages? I think I've missed some posts & I can't find it?

I’m massively symptom spotting here! Stitch pain in my lower left now aswell as slight back ache. Feel quite crampy.
