Yes @Juno231 I read that too 😊

Mococo1 · 02/07/2020 15:25

@Juno231 thank you! How are you doing? X

I'm taking a B6/Magnesium combo which has:
375mg of B6

And also pregnacare which has 10mg? per tablet

so I would like to think that's enough? I might take two a day of the B6/magnesium combo

I watched some lady on YouTube and now own a mini pharmacy of supplements

lucyrp · 02/07/2020 15:30

@Sausage1990 I went to a welsh school but only as 2nd language. I did want to send DS to a first language welsh school but he's 5 and goes to a small local village school and I feel it I sent my next to a first language welsh school it wokdlnt work as poor DS would be going to a different one x

Mococo1 · 02/07/2020 15:31

@sausage1990 thank you! Can I buy progesterone cream online? Lol 🙄

I'm kind of hoping as it's nearly been 3months on pregnacare now all the vitamins will be embedded within me! Docs would defo not prescribe me any progesterone without tests which they won't do till a third miscarriage. LOL if only I could drop a stone overnight to help x

mumof23188 · 02/07/2020 15:35

@notyetamumbuttrying that pain is the worst isn’t it. Hurts so much. Hoping AF doesn’t show 🤞🤞. You are good not testing yet. I’d of had to by now. I am around CD12 had EWCM a few days ago but now just feel very very wet 🙈 😩

KateColx · 02/07/2020 15:37

@2alreadywantanother the sore finger 😂😂😂 it's so true though! I honestly think if you look hard enough online you can find evidence of anything you want 😂 which I do most months 🙄🤷🏼‍♀️

@Vil10 ah I know! I was so tempted this morning! I've got it in my head that I'm waiting until Saturday morning but I'll see how I go 😂 it's normally when other people start testing that I lose my head and go all out 😂 I feel the same as you, like I'm clutching at straws. But we have to get BFPs at some point right?! 😂🤞🏻✨

@SmileyT poking them 😂😂😂 I've been doing it all day to see if they still hurt, they probably stopped hurting a while ago but all of my prodding is prolonging it 😂

Newbie0818 · 02/07/2020 15:38

Oh really haha @2alreadywantanother what do you eat normally?

@Franklydear that's my way of thinking too. I've tried being positive but I find it just hurts, whereas if I don't expect anything anymore it's easier to move on. But everyone's different of course.

Too true @Sausage1990 very wise words.

Juno231 · 02/07/2020 15:41

@Mococo1 ha I keep adding stuff each cycle so will be rattling too! Otherwise good, just booooored of the TWW. Only 7DPO ffs!

2alreadywantanother · 02/07/2020 15:41

Potatoes (not creamed) meat and gravy.
No veg, tea, jam, curry,rice, pasta, noodles, ketchup, everything i get is plain. Plain burger, I dont eat cheese but will on a pizza lol

2alreadywantanother · 02/07/2020 15:43

BUT my kids eat everything nearly. Dd loves her veg. If you ask her wats her fav dinner she will say roast with all the trimmings.

Katao · 02/07/2020 15:46

@Juno231 @Mococo1 @Sausage1990 I thought you shouldn't take more than 100mg of b6 a day? Am i mixing up my micrograms and milligrams or something?

Juno231 · 02/07/2020 15:51

@katao I think you've missed a zero - you shouldn't be taking more than 1,000 mg of B6 a day.

DKDK123 · 02/07/2020 15:53

Thanks for all the info @Sausage1990. I'd started looking into foods to lower estrogen/increase progesterone but as soon as you find something that says take one thing you find another article that says don't take it. Its all so confusing and contradictory so I gave up! Its good to read some articles from someone with a bit more knowledge into more trustworthy sources :)

Newbie0818 · 02/07/2020 15:55

@2alreadywantanother oh wow! I was like that with my food before I met dh. I literally lived off of potatoes and breaded chicken before him, but he's really got me to eat and try loads of new things which is good. It's great your kids eat everything!

Sausage1990 · 02/07/2020 15:56

@Katao Tbh I'm not sure as I don't prescribe but I've attached a screenshot of the summary on the B6. Micrograms is usually a slightly different shape M, it's like squiggly with one longer leg (if that makes sense). Above its just mg which milligrams. I don't know about the dosage that's safe. I just assume if they did a study and are suggesting positive outcomes then it can't be unsafe?! I'm no expert in this however so so whatever you thinks best 😬

@Mococo1 personally I wouldn't buy any progesterone pills or cream online without a doctors input, it just feels to risky with dosage etc. You really want to make sure there's no other case before you go down that route. You want to make sure you don't cause more harm. It's so infuriating tho isn't it. I feel you xx

Mococo1 · 02/07/2020 15:58

@dkdk123 @sausage1990 I totally get what you mean! There's too much info out there and I think it's a delicate balance of getting everything right! For now I've just read that progesterone is good for your skin and I've always maintained my skin is better when pregnant/on the pill and now I've concluded it's due to progesterone- having had a look in the mirror my skin texture is defo a lot better and less bumps so I think my extra supplements/raspberry leaf tea has been doing the progesterone trick! Quite chuffed with myself now actually and it's boosted my optimism on getting/staying preggers 😬

Sausage1990 · 02/07/2020 15:59

No problem @DKDK123... I'm just as clueless about all this as you guys, I just wanted to find some more reliable sources and actual papers rather than just off other forums.
Right I've bugged you all enough today... Clearly having a chatty day! I'll leave you all in peace now haha 😊💕

Franklydear · 02/07/2020 16:10

@Sausage1990 there's a lot of idiots publishing online, as there's no one to stop them, you can put the links to papers all day, we do appreciate it, Queen of the lab!

Franklydear · 02/07/2020 16:11

It also helps me spent the day, I am incredibly tired today so iPad and telly day, I did do some housework and a decent meal thought

Katao · 02/07/2020 16:14

@Juno231 @Mococo1 @Sausage1990
Hmmm it's a bit confusing but looks like more than 100mg may cause issues, more than 1000mg can cause nerve damage 😬 I'm taking it for different reasons but was told 50-100mg was safe when ttc/pregnant

Mococo1 · 02/07/2020 16:44

That's so weird @katao hahaha I've just read my actually vitamin tablet it was 375mg of magnesium not B6. B6 is down as 1.4mg which is 100% allowance so really pregnancare with its 10mg should be more than enough x

Vil10 · 02/07/2020 16:49

@Minster2012 how strange!!

@KateColx yes that's exactly how I feel!! I'm okay but then I come on here and see a few people are testing and I'm like ahhh! I just went into town and went into Superdrug and saw 2 frer's for like £8.99 or something, got to the till with them then put them back!! It'll just be more temptation for me to test tomorrow! Yes you're so right!! This could be our month!!🤞🏼x

Juno231 · 02/07/2020 16:53

@katao beats me 🤷‍♀️

I've got so many LP symptoms it's not funny. Not chalking any of them down to being pregnant though, don't worry 😂. Got swollen/heavy and sore boobs, the squits as @lucyrp so nicely put it last month, got a bit dizzy today and my skin is TERRIBLE. Like OH took one look at me the other night and went "o-h baby! You poor thing". This from the guy who doesn't notice anything lol.

Katao · 02/07/2020 17:28

@Mococo1 ya the actual normal rda is pretty small but high doses are used to treat/prevent some conditions. I'm on it to hopefully reduce/delay hyperemesis but had read about the added binus that it can reduce the chance of miscarriage.

blodyn91 · 02/07/2020 17:33

@Vil10 will power there 💪
@2alreadywantanother you don't like cheese! Sorry not sure if we can be friends anymore 😝 Now Im really hoping diarrhea is a symptom 😅

@Sausage1990 Dwi'n siarad cymraeg 😁 First language, determined to teach our kids even if they grow up in England. OH has learned the basics, speaks welsh to the dog, and can read a bit to my 2year old niece who doesn't understand english yet.
