Hello, yeah of course. Few basics are:
DTD did the deed
FMU first morning urine
SMU second morning urine
AF Aunt Flo
IC Internet cheapies (tests)
FRER first response early pregnancy test
POAS pee on a stick
Are there any others your stuck on? Hope that helps x

Thank you so much that's really helpful! None I can think of at the moment, it sometimes feels like I can only read half of what's said on here, I'll try and get up to speed ASAP 😁 this is an amazing site, so glad I found it ❤️

Lol you'll soon be into the swing of it. I forgot TWW (two week wait) too which you'll probably see a lot. Enjoy x

BFP big fat positive (pregnancy test)
BFN big fat negative (pregnancy test)
😊

BabyMoonPie · 01/07/2020 09:46

Big fat positive (the result you want after POAS!)

@Suemay803

BFP?
I've been here 10+years and haven't worked that one out yet! I know what I think it is, but suspect I'm wrong...
BabyMoonPie · 01/07/2020 09:48

CD - cycle day
TTC - trying to conceive
DPO - days past ovulation

LethargicLumpOfLockdownLard · 01/07/2020 09:48

Oh I was right! Makes a change.
Welcome to MN Smile

D means dear or darling so DH is darling husband. You also get

DD daughter
DS son
DW wife
DP partner
DM mother
DF father

Sometimes people use DF for friend or fiance!

M/FIL mother / father in law

Thanks everyone! Gosh, the one thing I didn't think I'd need to do was revise hahaha ❤️

HansBanans · 01/07/2020 21:27

A few more you might come across (sorry if any already mentioned):

BBT - basal body temperature
EPU - early pregnancy unit
HPT - home pregnancy test
OPK - ovulation predictor not
CM - cervical mucus
CP - cervical position/chemical pregnancy (seen it used for both)
MC - miscarriage
MMC - missed miscarriage

Suemay803 · 01/07/2020 22:27

Thanks everyone, I genuinely would not have worked that out on my own 😁
