TTC first cycle for first baby - CRAZY ALREADY!

Hi everyone!

Thought I’d start a new thread for any of us who are on the first cycle of TTC baby number one and are new to all this!

I’m 30, just coming up to my fertile window and I’ve just been using Femometer ovulation sticks so far for the last week but did order some of the Clearblue four day window tests last night - I’m already too impatient and want a clear reading when I’m going to hit the peak!

Does anyone else have this overwhelming fear that it won’t happen easily or at all? I have no reason to think it but it’s always in the back of my mind.

I drove myself crazy ttc after an ep last year. Tried for a few months with no success. I then decided to try a couple of things to help thinking if they didn't work, at least I felt like I was doing something to help. So I used Conceive plus lubricant and started acupuncture for conception. Conceived that month. Not sure if it was either of these that helped or maybe psychological or just the right time but certainly helped me stop driving myself mad either way ☺️ good luck x

@LisaxMarie sorry to hear about your ectopic pregnancy, glad to see you conceived though! Interesting about the Acupuncture.

I have looked into the conceive plus lubricant, I wasn’t sure if it was a bit of a gimmick but a lot of people on here use it so I think I’ll give it a go!

It's definitely worth a go. I read that they recommend acupuncture for ivf patients and conception in general. It also helped with just destressing which can only help towards conceiving I guess ☺️ thank you. Baby girl due 15th July
