BFP at just 6 DPO on FRER?

Hey 👋

Has anyone ever got a BFP at 6 DPO on FRER? TTC #2 and am at most 6 DPO. POAS this morning and a faint pink line came up - I have attached a photo, but it is definitely there in real life, I'm absolutely not imagining it as I usually do Grin

I got my BFP on FRER with DS at 9 DPO, but have never known such an early one. Any other experiences?

(It came up within 3 mins and is definitely pink irl. Could still be an evap I suppose though).

I've had a nosey on google and there are some first response rapid tests with the symbol instead of the words on the thumb grip so I think yours is okay. Did you get it from eBay/amazon? X

What a mind f**k! What test did you use? I don't know what to do. I feel like if I go to the gp they'll think I'm wasting their time as the blood tests said negative.
Yes I got my tests from Amazon. I thought that they'd be the last ones I'd buy as I thought for sure it'd be a totally clear screen. Might be purchasing some more....
Are you going back to the gp?

I have no idea, my test line is very faint (see photos, one with filter one without) but it came up within the time frame. Maybe I'm just seeing things each morning? I was thinking of maybe seeing the GP if the tests got really dark which mine haven't but yours are really clear so it might be worth speaking to them? X

Yes I can see a line, it's so strange.
Before looking on Mumsnet I would have said both of ours were negative but when you get reading there are so many people that end up being pregnant with lines the same as ours. Hopefully things become clear for us

Yeah I had this one yesterday so I have no idea. The light is appalling on all my photos, no idea why? I think yours are100% positive whereas mine are debatable with them been faint 😕 Have you told anyone about what's happened? It's just me and my OH that know, he has no idea what's going on either. X

I told my hubby when I got lines on my first couple of tests but he always thought they were negative and when this was confirmed by the gp both by urine and blood samples he has remained adiment they were negative so I've been testing quite a bit but he doesn't know. He'll think it's a waste of time and money (it is lol) when the doctor said I wasn't pregnant. I did tell my mate but she thought they were all negative too so I don't share with anyone except on here

It's a really hard situation. It's driving me insane! I'm glad I've found someone in the same/similar situation even though it's just as frustrating, it's nice to speak to someone who understands. X

Lol yeah to going crazy together! What's your next plans with testing? Are you waiting a while? I keep saying I'll leave it a few days but then each morning curiosity gets the better of me and I take another x

More frer which I've fallen out with but I feel like I want to take these as I can compare them and also clear blue which I haven't used before. They arrive tomorrow but I'll hopefully have some will power to not test until Saturday.

Hello, how are you doing? I tested yesterday and got the usual faint line but not tested today as started yesterday afternoon with some on and off cramping so maybe AF is coming? No idea what's happening but will let you know. I've got to a point where if AF arrives then at least I'll know what's happening 😒

I've been thinking of you loads. Yes I tested this morning but I've decided I'm def not pregnant. Still the same lines but I dipped another frer in tap water and we both got the same feint lines! So not happy with frer. The pic I've posted is the tap's test!

Wtf?! What on earth?! I thought FRER were meant to be the most accurate test on the market? How are you feeling? I would definitely be contacting first response about the test 😕 I know it sounds silly but surely all your tests can't be faulty, have you had any signs of bleeding or anything?

I initially thought that all my tests can't be wrong but seeing that tap water also shows a line I'm thinking that mine are all definitely negative. I should have listened to the gp and not kept this false hope going

I've had this trouble with frers too they are awful now. More often than not if you look at them before dipping them in anything you will see a faint line. Hate them.

I feel awful for you, your tests were so clear, I honestly did think you were pregnant and your hgc levels were just low. I've still had cramping and tried a IC this morning and couldn't see anything so I think I am out too 😕

I got a second line yesterday (no squinting or filtering needed) but then got a BFN this morning so now I'm just waiting for a AF to arrive and then going to start trying again from there x

Hello, lol I wish I would've done that. Saying that I'm using ICs so not too bad on the bank balance. Yep still had positives but no idea what's happening still! I would love to have your will power 😊

Yes although I am on the mini pill so gp says it's normal not to get periods (although not for me). When I dipped that last free test in water and there was a line I just thought 'ffs, I've been in emotional turmoil for the last few weeks, over what is now clear to me now, nothing'. All my tests must have been duds as that was backed up by gps tests. I'm a bit gutted as I'd really gotten used to the idea but I suppose it wasn't meant for me now.
It's very weird that your still getting lines too. Did you request bloods to get your HCG level checked?

Nope not been back to doctors, I got stronger positives on Wednesday and yesterday and then today it's back to very faint today so I am going with not been pregnant unless a BFP that's clear turns up 😊
I still think it's all bizarre as AF still isn't here but my cycles are all over the place so I don't know 🤔
Have you never had a bleed on the pill? Still makes me wonder with your tests all been so strong (I know one pack was dodgy) but surely they can't all be dodgy....

I hope you get to the bottom of what's going on with you, it's just bizarre.
I normally get a period on the pill but now haven't had one since Feb. When I got my first line all those weeks ago I stopped taking it as I thought maybe I was pregnant. I kept off it until last week and have start taking it again.
Good luck and keep sending updates, I truly hope you get a very dark line soon🤞
