BFP at just 6 DPO on FRER?

Hey 👋

Has anyone ever got a BFP at 6 DPO on FRER? TTC #2 and am at most 6 DPO. POAS this morning and a faint pink line came up - I have attached a photo, but it is definitely there in real life, I'm absolutely not imagining it as I usually do Grin

I got my BFP on FRER with DS at 9 DPO, but have never known such an early one. Any other experiences?

(It came up within 3 mins and is definitely pink irl. Could still be an evap I suppose though).

OMG the plot thickens even further Confused

I thought I saw a smudge on an IC this morning. Just peed on a Clearblue 6 days before AF stick and a faint but definite line appeared.

I am going to leave it a few days and if AF hasn't arrived, I will splash out on a digi. I am sooooo done with looking for lines this cycle!

Seriously, I have been getting such squinter for so long now I cannot see this turning into an actual baby. I can only really see me bankrupting myself on tests Grin

@Frogspawn20 I can definitely see it. Its light but a fine blue line for sure. Hopefully you can confirm in 48h with another test.

Just fyi, I've always been told to avoid blue dye tests because they have a higher chance of being a false positive, red dye is more reliable.

I can sort of see a faint outline however I think I always convince myself because I'm used to seeing them from before. I wouldn't rely on me, but there are people who will change the contrast and let you see if they see a line. Beware of looking after the designated time, you may have to wait another day or two (believe me I know about the costs, I'm POAS mad) but it's just better than going through days thinking "what if" for me. Although I did wait one or two days after a negative and got a super strong line so never know (I know a quickly darkening line isn't always a good sign).

Looking again I'm almost certain I see the line! I really hope it is. Maybe it's time for the digi early (if that's the pack you got) in a couple of days

I'm looking at those pictures and they're negative. I've enlarged and they're still negative. Why don't you wait until your period is due OP and you'll know for sure then. This must be driving you mad.

fingers crossed for you. I’m still awaiting AF ! I had cramping this morning - however my breast tenderness has returned Confused. I did another FRER but this time looked at it before peeing on it and I could see a faint line! After peeing on it I could seen the same line but don’t think it has angered at all. Confused and thoroughly peed off!! 99.99% not preggers but there’s always that doubt aaargh!! Good luck! Let us know what happens Smile

AF arrived this morning...and so endeth the most exciting 2ww I've had in my 5+ year history of TTC Grin

Aaah sorry to hear that @MATTSMAMMA. There's only so long you can keep going, isn't there? We're only 3 months in to TTC #2, but DS took 5 years and several losses so I'm not holding out a massive amount of hope! Still, I won't ever regret trying, even if we don't get lucky this time.

I hope you don't mind me saying that it think frer are awful. I had started a thread a few weeks back asking for advice as I thought I had a positive. Long story short I did many frers all positive but gp bloods were negative. I'll post pics of a few of them. It didn't appear to be a chemical as HCG levels were 2.1 and I had no bleeding after. I just wanted to say this as I know how much we pin hopes on these linesSad.

Sorry for jumping on this thread but I saw your comment about a negative blood test and positive home pregnancy tests. Did you request a further blood test? I'm in a similar position at the moment and feel so confused 😕 x

No I didn't complain, probably should but I didn't think there would be any point. I've just heard other ladies saying that they'd also got false positives and wanted to share as I don't want others to get their hopes up to then be dashed because there was a line.
I didn't request another blood test as I thought that it would be the most accurate result and that if it was a chemical pregnancy i would have a bleed and that would be that but I still haven't had anything. Very weird isn't it. Are you going to go back to go BPT?

Yours sounds really strange like mine, I had another blood test today (my doctor had requested two to start with). The first came back as negative but not with zero pregnancy hormone so I have no idea? I'm guessing I'm not pregnant but it's confusing. I have heard of other ladies who have been pregnant with a negative blood test so maybe speak to your doctor as you haven't had a bleed? Have you taken any more pregnancy tests? Sorry for all the questions 😳 x

Don't apologise for the questions 🙂. After I got the negative from the blood test I took that as a true result and had thought that what i was seeing were evap lines (I'm certain they're not though and I did about 12Blush) or that I had a chemical pregnancy. I had another frer left so took it the next day and the line was v faint this time. Still no bleeding and that was a week ago.
I'm currently on the mini pill, gp said that no periods are quite normal (not for me) and that the tests I took must be evaps etc although she did not actually see them as it was a consult over the phone.
I'm interested in hearing what your bloods say. I was really expecting a bleed last weekHmm
