Hi, I am currently ttc I have had my 1st period since a mmc and been using ovulation sticks. I think I am ovulating today as its the darkest lines I've seen and had A little spotting yesterday. Due to work me and dp done the deed on Friday and this morning tho today he never ejaculated (happens when hes really tired). I'm worried I won't conceive now. will Friday's sperm still be around and alive?

Just after any help or knowledge or experiences people may have had x

I think its typically 48hours that sperm live, so some of them could well still be around. Good luck!

Sperm can live up to 7 days inside your body, so it is possible. Having sex before you ovulate is a good idea so the sperm is waiting for the egg- which only lives 12-24 hours if not fertilised.

The nhs website is a good source: www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/getting-pregnant/

That said, the more sperm the better! So if you can DTD again soon it is helpful to increase your chances.

Also you may be just about to ovulate. OPK kits detect the surge of LH that happens before you ovulate. Check your specific tests for details, but my tests say that one you test positive you will ovulate in the next 24-48 hours. So if you can do it this evening if possible or if not even in the morning, it will help increase your chances.

Your still in with a good shot!
