So we are official trying for our second! My period finally restarted last month. We have a one year old, and I'm still breastfeeding her once a day (with some snacking in the evening).
We jumped straight onto OPKs and I got a 'high' result on cycle day 16. Yay! However, now on day 20 and still 'high'. No peak yet, which seems odd. I wondered if breastfeeding might give me a false positive, but I can't seem to find a definitive answer on the internet! Does anyone know?
I've had some other ovulation symptoms - slight increase in CM and a breakout - so I was holding out some hope, but wondering if I should just give up hope for this month. I know it can take a long time for things to regulate, even after that first period.
Forgot how draining TTC is!
