Ladies - I don't know how to word this and I'm looking for any of your wonderful tips/advice/ideas etc etc etc.

Hubby and I have been TTC for over a year with no joy - not even a chemical pregnancy. We have started acupuncture as I think I am pretty stressed and I tend to track my cycle so I know when we should do the deed. I use clearblue ovulation strips.

I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. We have started to get some basic tests done on the NHS but everything is so slow right now with COVID-19.

I just wondered if there are any old wives tips I am missing?

I definitely need more patience. Just want to be a mum so badly.

I'm sorry, it can be really bloody stressful!!

I used acupuncture whilst trying to conceive, and whilst pregnant. If nothing else, the bit of relaxation it gave me was helpful!

I also used Conceive Plus which seemed to work for us?

I used preseed and used cheapie ovulation tests. Didn't tell my husband I knew when I ovulated though to try and ease the pressure! Good luck!

@LCat123 I could have literally wrote exactly what you wrote. We started officially trying last June. We've not even had a chemical. Had some initial blood tests done and all fine just waiting for an appointment for a HSG test but everything is delayed because of covid. Just don't know what we're doing wrong and it seems like everyone around us is getting pregnant and we're still struggling. I'm trying to be hopeful that it will happen soon and it's only a matter of time though. We've also started acupuncture and I have my third appointment tomorrow i'll be 8dpo

Yup getting on for 2 years, covid has effectively ended our hope for being approved for IVF on the NHS in time.

Doctor still believes we have a chance of conceiving naturally so still clinging to that. I feel you :(
