Evap, indent or BFP? FRER...

First time TTC. I will be anywhere between 7DPO - 9DPO. AF is 6 days away.

I got this on a FRER test this morning. I can see the faintest, squintiest line which appeared within 5 minutes, my friend also said she can see it when she zooms in on the photo. I also checked the other test in the box and you cannot see any indent or line on the fresh, unused test.

I've also read that FRER are notorious for indent and evap lines! Can anyone see a line, and what do evap/indent lines look like for future reference?

My FRER looked like yours at 9DPO and I was convinced I was imagining things and couldn’t see anything in a photo, after doing some research they very very rarely pick anything up before 10DPO.. this is mine today at 11DPO. FX for us both xx

I can't see anything on that test I'm afraid OP. I can see it on yours LittleBee but don't see that on OPs test.
I have had evap lines on FRERs before, try again in two days OP, you're not out yet. It's still very, very early.

LoobyLou91 · 25/06/2020 10:32

That is reassuring @Littlebee1990

My DS was a complete surprise so I never did ovulation tracking, TTC! My first test with him was the day of my missed period and was also a very faint line, I had to get a digital to confirm.

Fingers crossed, you have a good line on yours without even squinting! That gives me reassurance that yours looked like mine a couple of days ago as it is currently very, very faint and squinty!

@RyanStartedTheFire Thank you. I am not sure what evap or indents look like as it's my first month TTC. I've had another look in the light and there's definitely the faintest shadow of something. I am going to take a digital in a couple of days Smile

I'm really not sure if I see a very faint line on that one. I think evaps and indents have no colour or are grey so anything with colour is a good sign. I would try again in a couple of days and see what you get, fingers crossed for you 🤞

@LoobyLou91
It's so hard to tell in these early days. FRERs are more sensitive than digitals so I'd wait to get a visible line on a FRER before doing a digital. Good luck, there's still loads of time for it to become more visible. 9DPO is so early.

LoobyLou91 · 25/06/2020 21:13

Thank you everyone. I’m going to keep testing with FRER using FMU. I didn’t realise that digital clear blue tests aren’t as sensitive, so I will continue with these ones until I get a solid positive line or AF appears!!

Hi everyone sorry to jump on this thread just need bit of advice. I was 9/10 dpo yesterday and I have not felt right all day. Was cleaning round and found one step test so thought why not Grin I see a line and it came up within about 8-9 mins (I was tidying around) have order digital test and with get first response ones ect to take this Friday when AF due. Does this look like a positive? I've used these before and never got evap line usually stark white. As I'm new member won't let me post images so I'll try again below Thank you

Hi, my AF is due in 3 days but decided to test as I've been having symptoms for a week or so( tender breasts, cramping, fatigue). Does this look positive or am I going loopy? Showed up within 5 minutes, Thanks

I think it looks positive but I would grab a FRER to confirm 😊 x
Peacenquiet2 · 14/07/2020 15:23

Op I definitely see the very most faint line, I had one like that at 8ish dpo with dc3, then a couple days later it was more obvious

Marshmellowskies · 15/07/2020 00:08

Thanks for the reply BPT2019🙂. I'm going to test again in a couple of days, if I can wait that long

Marshmellowskies · 15/07/2020 07:43

Decided to do another test but this time with first urine of the day, what do you think?

The blue one looks positive but the other looks dried out so you can't tell. Did the lines come up within the time frame? I would retest with a FRER to confirm x

Sorry everyone there's a 48 hour window where new member can't post Confused the bottom test I took on Tuesday night (10dpo) which is more darker than night before. Will be doing a first response and clear blue digital in morning Grin

Hi yeah the top ones dried up. Yeah both came up with if the time frame and have blue one is a lot pinker in person (taking photos is hard as doesn't show colour correctly) will be testing with digital in morning Grin xx

Thank you so much Smile I had a Miscarriage in February and was heartbroken so this is the best news 4 months later 😄 xx
Marshmellowskies · 19/07/2020 15:41

Congratulations Hevam1. I decided to do a clear blue digital on 16th which came back pregnant 2-3 weeks🙂 I'm still in shock! Do you have any symptoms yet? My nipples are sore and I'm more tired then usual x

Hevam1 · 19/07/2020 15:58

@Marshmellowskies ahh congratulations! It's all exciting isn't it. Smile I was really tired had a bad headache and had sore boobs the day I first tested. The headaches have gone now and just have slightly tender boobs, tired, nausea and just the odd pulling and twinges in my lower abdomen on either side. I did have a small amount of pink spotting this morning though Shockfreaked out a bit. But hospital said it's very common and touch wood I have had nothing since. My period was due yesterday and she said can be implantation/break through bleed! I have a early scan booked in at 7 weeks so fingers crossed everything will be fine xxx
