Ovulation help

Hi all

Sorry I'm not great with abbreviations so forgive me in advance.
Trying to conceive baby no 2. No 1 was much easier!
I've been using Clear Blue sticks and they are telling me I am still not ovulating but in reality I have a thick creamy discharge so know that I am starting too.... Also got ovulation pains I normally get.
Has anyone else had this issue? Is it due to my surge not being strong enough? I'm going to keep testing and hopefully I get a smiley face but wanted to see if anyone has had same..

Hi! I think just have sex like you normally would and use it for a couple of months. I think it learns your normal level of hormones and adapts from that. What day did you start testing? I started day 8 as I've had some shorter cycles. Flashing smiley face from day 10 until day 13.day 14 static smiley face. Actually had a change in discharge on day 16. So I think it detected a surge for me but my egg wasn't released for a couple of days after....

Thanks for your reply. I started day 8 too. I use the Clue app and it's telling me I'm ovulating now too. My poor OH I've made him DTD everyday for a week each month now for about 4 months. Staying positive that one of these months will be the one 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I also use clue and I'm trying to transition off it. It's telling me I'm due my period Sunday and my new app (that knows my ovulation date from my testing sticks) says tomorrow. Which makes no sense as I'm only 10 days post ovulation. Eurgh so confusing. I also made my husband do it every day for a week. We're 18 cycles in. Thinking of having a break again now. Can't cope with the emotional upheaval!

@Vea1601 I have a love hate relationship with clue! Signed up to natural cycles for a while but didn't like it and left me more confused.
It really takes its toll doesnt it?! While everyone around us is getting pregnant so easily 😫

I've started using Flo alongside clue this month. I quite like it but we'll see how it is with a few months data. Also doing clear blue digital advanced ovulation testing which has its own app. The ovulation test synchs to the app directly. I'm thinking of using somethjbg like preseed next month but not sure. And forcing hubby to take some vitamins ha
