Does this look like an evap?

OneStep cheapie. Around 10DPO. Took this last night. A VVVVFL showed up almost straight away but it only got this dark around 15 mins after the test was taken, way outside the accurate window. It doesn’t seem to have colour to it so I’m worried it’s an evap. Have just took another this morning with an even fainter VFL that didn’t get darker. Anyone have any idea what could be going on?

Haha I totally know that pain! I've wasted so much money on this game - I've been trying 18 months now. I'm now waiting until after my period is late to ever test. And on a cheapy.usually testing brings on my period though 🤣🤣

@Vea1601 I’ve had occasions of getting AF onto a test! And the cheapies are definitely a PITA...more trouble than they are worth

It's way darker than my faintest lines on those! I needed to shine a torch behind it and squint.

I don't believe in evaps. I've done hundreds and never a hint of a line unless pregnant.

Oh no I’m so sorry. Based on the earlier line I’d say it was probably a chemical. I had one and it was horrendous.

Have you tried another ic, just to compare?

Look after yourself. The emotional toll of TTC is horrendous.

@Icouldstillbejoseph Thank you. I’m very angry with that brand of OneStep cheapies. Seen so many threads of people getting VFL’s only to then get BFN’s.

Have tweaked the FRER now and can see something ever so faint but not sure what to make of it AF due July 2nd.

Have you been drinking tonnes of water or was it on a four hour hold?

@LividLaughLovely No water all day really. Been feeling sick (body is playing tricks...clearly) and heat is debilitating so have just been in bed all day with the fan on. FRER wasn’t a morning wee but still first wee since early this morning.

Oh god it hope it wasn’t a chemical. Last one was horrendous. Bleeding for 10 days, awful awful awful pain.

I can see a line on those. 10dpo is still very early, so you'd expect it to be faint. Try again with fmu tomorrow, will keep everything crossed for you.

@Threnody I’ve felt so nauseous all day, literally have a bowl next to my bed. I have a really strong stomach and am rarely ever sick so can’t help but hope I am PG still

I know it's an anxious time but you really need to drink in this weather!!

If you are pregnant (and even if you are not) dehydration can cause all sorts of problems.

Hope you get a clear positive soon (it's still so early) I didn't get a positive second time TTC until I was 6 days late x
