@Elakiya hey!!!! Yeah myself and snapple are using the CB monitor. Its been tough as I didn't get it the day my AF started and the dam thing wants you to set it up the day you start so it thinks I am now only on CD9 when I am actually on CD11 lol. My flo app said ovulation would be today and my cheap OPK looked dark to me but the monitor says I havent had an LH surge so no idea who to believe we BD'd anyway lol just in case will keep doing it over the next few days and if this monitor doesn't pick up a 'peak' I am going to flip my lid lol!!!

As for the cup @Kaybobx I forgot to update you and @Elakiya since you asked so we used it with preseed. We used the preseed as we would if we used lube (before BD) and then when we finished I just pinched the cup to make a figure 8 and slid it up it was super easy for me and felt completely normal didnt even notice it was there. It suctioned like crazy hahaha but I think i did it right because when I pulled it out (which takes some effort due to the suction lol) there was stuff in the cup lol hope 20 minutes was long enough with my legs in the air 😂 @snapple21 I can see why you use this for AF and yes it was gross to put your fingers in between lube and juices lol but I am sure the texture is the same as blood lol.

@Elakiya hey welcome back! Ugh glad you feel my pain, i dont know whats happened to me lately. Im ovulating around the same time as you though 🙂

@candycrush2298 oh god that cup sounds weird but fingers crossed it works hahaha!! Mine will be here in the next couple of days I'm hoping. Cant wait to see my hubbys face when i pop that in after 😂

@Kaybobx lol it actually wasn't as weird as I anticipated. Hubby was just like dont ask me to put it in 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I was like have I ever in my whole life ever asked you to insert a tampon... no... so why would I ask you to insert this 😆😆😆😆😆

@candycrush2298 hahaha!! I told my hubby about it he just rolled his eyes and smirked, like yeah i wouldn't expect anything different from you and your crazy mind. Tbf he would wear it on his head if hes getting some 😂 hes like a 18yr old teenager and im a 50 year old woman 🙈 if this cup doesnt work....im all out of ideas!

@Kaybobx lol you're so funny!!!! Hahahahaha have you tried like herbal things like maca root or chasteberry or something to help up your libido naturally? Yeah after the cup, preseed and CB monitor I have no freaken clue whats the next level 🤣🤣🤣 I am all out of crazy 😜

@Kaybobx hahahah yeah also passed out last night lol. Yeah there's loads of things I am going to look for something i can take to calm me down and keep my stress under control. You know I just thought of this if this monitor never picks up my peak I will never know when I ovulated and therefore can't actually symptom spot because I will never know what DPO I am. This might be a blessing in disguise 🤣🤣🤣 no but seriously I think I have already ovulated because I was using cheapies the other day and they looked super dark also these monitor tests have lines as well and the lines are starting to get feint so I dont think its ever going to pick it up. Can that happen @snapple21?

@candycrush2298 i don't like the sound of these monitors, doesn't seem very straight forward. I feel like I'm gearing up for ovulation, getting some twinges this morning woohoo!
Oh tell me about it with the stress, im dreading going back to work. Ive been lovely and chilled during lockdown! Totally thought that would of been a huge help conceiving, obviously not 😔

@Kaybobx yeah l am not sure i think I may have actually ovulated on Tuesday because on Monday it said estrogen surge detected and the lines were super dark so that afternoon I used a cheap OPK and the test line was darker than control. But because it didn't pick up the LH surge it said jeep testing now my thinking is because on Monday that machine would have thought i was CD7 which to it may be too early to ovulate so it just said keep testing but since then the lines have started to get lighter on the monitor sticks. I dont want to keep using the sticks as they really expensive if I have already ovulated. But what if i am wrong and haven't ovulated yet and I miss the chance. Agh so annoying. Next month I am going to set to the start of AF so I can use the monitor correctly as I have messed it all up.

@candycrush2298 have you got plenty of cheapies? I'd just been using those if so incase you do miss it. Have you BD enough if it did happen Monday?
Ive tested this morning and im not quite there yet, maybe at the weekend.
Thanks for the recommendations for the herbal pills, I've just brought some maca root from Amazon. Was £15 but the reviews are really good. Im always quite low on energy too so think these will be good for me as a whole.. hopefully lol

@Kaybobx yeah i have got cheapies but not loads I think maybe like 5 left so will test in a bit with the cheapie and see if the line is lighter than it was when I tested on Monday and if it is I am going to guess its passed. As for BD we did it Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. But not Monday as I passed out was so tired 🤣 so dont know if thats actually good enough. I am going to BD every second night until next week anyway just in case I am wrong and this monitor is right lol!!!

Oh yay I actually also ordered some maca root also for £15 from Amazon hahaha as I actually saw it has benefits for mood and energy and I am constantly tired so I hope this helps 🤣🤣🤣 going to give it to hubby as well just because hahaaha.

@candycrush2298 did you use the cup each time? I can't wait to try it. Although i may throw up taking it out lol. Mine hasn't arrived yet, probably from China knowing my luck.

@Kaybobx no i didn't 😒 it only arrived on Monday. Was hoping Saturday but it was Royal Mail second class delivery so expected it to be Monday I dont know how yours looks but mine has like a plastic thing at the bottom to pull from and because all the stuff was in the cup I pulled it out and never got my hands dirty. Nooo my hands got dirty putting the cup in 🤣🤣🤣 and because I had to lie with my legs up I just had a wet wipe to use until I could get up and go to the bathroom whahahah. I have seen that maca root benefits male fertility as well and since he hasn't been for his tests anything to improve the swimmers will be a benefit in my eyes whether he actually needs it or not so he is getting it. I already have him on the Wellman vitamins for TTC🤣🤣🤣

I honestly have no clue what I'm doing currently and I've no idea about the monitor!

It says I'm day 6 but still isn't letting me insert a test. I know the cd is wrong but I still thought it'd let me test by now.

I have no idea where I'm to with ovulation. Cycle day 13 today. I thought I could have ovulated early on Monday but my test was negative, so I was thinking did I miss the start of the peak cause I wasn't testing.

Tests are still negative today, some ewcm, but crampy. Maybe I am gearing up to ovulate. Who knows 😂

@snapple21 I have also completely ruined this cycle I wasnt testing my cm has gone from ewcm to watery still feeling bloated and tender boobs. Just did a cheap OPK and its so feint I am definitely not near ovulating. I am not going to test using the monitor anymore and waste anymore tests I am going to just BD every second day this week and maybe a bit of next week. In case I am wrong I will also test using the cheap OPKs for a few more days to make sure its still feint. I am going to reset the monitor and use it properly next cycle. I dont think we BD'd the right days so I am going to say this month is a total flop for me.

I think I'm gonna do the same and just do it every other day for a week! And cover all bases. I'll let you know if my monitor says I can test though and do one to see. Did the last one you did on the monitor indicate it had gone to low fertility?

Well its safe to say, i definitely won't be buying one of those monitors! What a faff.

@snapple21 no it just says high every day since I have been testing but I read that you should not test after you get a peak result because it will continue to say high for the rest of your cycle so I think mine is saying high now just because it hasn't detected the peak. LOL don't blame you @Kaybobx it is driving me insane!

So finally the GP has just got back to me! My blood test came back as no further action required for fertility and he said the polps are really small and wouldnt affect me conceiving. Wooohoo!
Ive got a number to call and arrange a rescan tomorrow as the one i had wasnt NHS i guess so he's not taking it as factual and also because they sometimes go away on their own.
He said after that they wont refer me to the fertility clinic until hubby has his semen analysis, so hard when he works full time!
Happy that im ok though and can stop worrying 🙂

I do agree that sometimes when they are small our bodies have a way of getting rid of them naturally which makes sense why they want a rescan. Agh I completely understand the frustration of waiting on his test before going onto the fertility clinic. That is the exact step we are stuck at and the same issue with him having trouble getting away from work to go but we cannot miss this appointment so whenever they send it he must put in a days leave if he has too but he needs to get it done. I just wish I knew when the clinic hubby has been referred to will open up for testing again so we can go and get this sorted. Has your hubby been referred for testing? If so, is the clinic he was referred to open?

@candycrush2298 thankssss! So relieved. I guess we are the unlucky ones that it just takes years! Yes my husband has been referred, he's got the form from the doctor and just needs to call to book the appointment. The fertility clinic is at our main hospital so is still open. I'll pester him when he gets home to call them. Im sure he can finish early just one day.
If his test comes back fine i guess its just a sit and wait for us. There's not much else they can do for us if we're both testing with no issues. The GP said as i already have a child, they wouldn't help with any kind of fertility or IVF. We just need to keep trying these new crazy ideas haha!!

@Kaybobx yeah I think so too. Ahhh no that sucks that they won't help with IVF since you had a child naturally. But surely if his comes back normal they will do other tests on you like scans etc. Maybe even give you some clomid? Our fertility clinic is also at the main hospital which is obviously open but the actual clinic is closed and they only do semen analysis between 8am-12pm on Thursdays so talk about a specific time to go lol!!!
