@Elakiya sorry you've been having a rough time I hope you're ok.
I have the sorest boobs ever this morning but I've had this in other cycles so not getting my hopes up!
No other symptoms.
Midwife head on now - all trusts will be different in regards to procedures due to coronavirus. I speak from what we do - you have a booking appt about 8-10 weeks. We take bloods and book a scan and give lots of info and take a history. We test urine but not for pregnancy, as others have mentioned it's for infection/protein etc. We consider home pregnancy tests to be accurate so we don't re test!
I've been doing the bulk of this appointment over the phone then seeing people face to face for bloods/bp/weigh and measure to work out bmi.
Your second appt will be your dating scan.
Then you are normally seen at 16 weeks to check bp/urine/listen to heartbeat if you wish. Some trusts had changed this to a phone consultation but we haven't.
We don't measure the bump till 28 weeks in any trust in the uk any more (or we shouldn't be).
I don't recommend home dopplers as they can create a false sense of security. The signal can double and you can thing you're listening to the fh when it is your own pulse doubled.
Any questions I'm happy to answer.
We really need some bfp on here for sure.
