@snapple21 no ovulation will be within 12-36 hours after that dark OPK so gotta BD before the egg actually releases. I would say do it as soon as you can as that's a nice really dark OPK definitely positive.

@snapple21 FYI just so you know if you download the premom app on your phone its for the easy@home OPKs that you are using and will tell you your peak. (Saw you asked the question about an app yesterday)

OP posts:
snapple21 · 05/07/2020 18:22

Thanks will do.
I'll do it tonight then 🙏🏻

candycrush2298 · 05/07/2020 19:20

My OPK’s have finally gone done to low, confused as to what happened there. I think I’ve only had the surge for 48 hrs. Consulted Dr google looks like there is not much to worry about. I’m going to continue using OPK’s till I run out. I think I have 7 left. According to Femometer based on me ovulating today AF should arrive on 21st July. My husbands birthday is on the 31st July. Hoping for a nice birthday present. Although he’ll know ahead of his birthday if I am because he’s synced my flo app to his phone 😂😅.

Kaybobx · 06/07/2020 08:42

@Elakiya as if he has your flow app haha! Would he notice if you deleted it? Would be an amazing birthday surprise!!

So, i fell asleep last night so didnt BD 😭 I'm hooked on breaking bad on Netflix so was watching it in bed and hubby didnt wake me when he came up!! Well not that i remember lol. We BD yesterday morning after my peak came so i hopefully that once was enough opps! My OPKs have gone lighter today. I think im going to write this month off, i dont think im lucky enough to get pregnant from that one time haha. Oh mannnn

candycrush2298 · 06/07/2020 08:45

@Elakiya ahhhh thats so sweet that he has synced the app to his phone. How adorable. My hubby is more of a let me know when its happened haha. As for the OPKs you are super lucky to get a surge for 48 hours I get one positive and thats me unless I test twice in one day but the next day its always dropped. Kaybobx also never really had a gradual increase in OPKs this month she went from getting there (half way dark test line) to extreme dark positive the next day. I think it happens. You got the BD in so would he super happy hahaha. Here's to waiting until the 21st.... grrrrrr....

Hello ladies, hope I can join? AF due 20/7, I ovulated on Friday so 3dpo today. First ovulation following a MMC at the end of April and had surgical management on 14th May so it has been a long old wait.

We only managed to DTD ov-1 and ov+1 due to DH being on night shift on ov day! So not holding out much hope since my cycle may not be fully settled again anyway, but we will see.

candycrush2298 · 06/07/2020 09:27

@littletandme of course you can 😄 so sorry to hear about your MMC. I didnt get to BD much either and also missed my peak so like yourself not holding much hope but let's just see what happens. Holding thumbs for you xx

OP posts:
ReginaaPhalange · 06/07/2020 09:43

@candycrush2298 yeah he's definitely a bit more happier haha!!!! 3 times in one week is some kind of record (after the initial honeymoon period haha). We're normally once a month hahaha

candycrush2298 · 06/07/2020 09:50

@ReginaaPhalange whahahaha ouch once a month!!! The he must truly be in 7th heaven whahaha!!! Cloud 9 stages of euphoria for him lol!! For me, I dont know who would have more pain me or him at once a month. Whahahaha!!

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 06/07/2020 09:57

I've just been for a shower and my OPK strip was still on the side from this morning, i had a look and its dark now. Matches yesterdays! Do you think i still have a chance? Or is it invalid after a certain time?
Hubby is home from work at 11ish so will jump on him when he's in the door haha!!

ReginaaPhalange · 06/07/2020 09:58

@candycrush2298 I know I know lol. It's bad but we both have such fast paced jobs that were both wiped out by bed time lol. We're off this week so I guess that's helped things haha!

Done my CD advanced test this morning and I'm still a flashing smiley..... will test again tomorrow morning and hope to jump him then again haha!

Elakiya · 06/07/2020 09:59

@Kaybobx @candycrush2298
Unfortunately, he’s more in tune with my body then I am. He’s probably memorised when my period is due for this month 😅🤣. I really wish he wasn’t because I’ve watched so many YouTube videos of women surprising their partners about being pregnant and I know that will never happen in my house 😅.

Have you ladies thought about how you’d tell them when it happens?

@littletandme welcome. I’m heartbroken to hear about your MMC, I can’t even begin to imagine the pain you went through. I’m deeply sorry.

I have my fingers crossed for this to be a successful month for you. My friend miscarried in February last year and didn’t get pregnant again until July of the same year so that’s about 5 months. Sometimes your body needs more time to heal. Just relax and enjoy the BD 😁 and it will happen again very soon 😁

Elakiya · 06/07/2020 10:04

@ReginaaPhalange we’re also a once a month kind of couple 😂 my husband says he’s going to name our baby after my gynae because he showed him that there was light at the end of the tunnel 😂😂😂😂

Kaybobx · 06/07/2020 10:17

@littletandme so sorry for what you went through. I just couldn't imagine 😔 wishing you lots of luck for this month.

@Elakiya haha thats cute! My husband is like @candycrush2298, just let him know when he is and isnt needed 😂

My idea was to get a big sister tshirt for our 2 year old and wait until he notices what shes wearing which will probably be allday knowing him ha!
But then i am stealing his idea abit as thats how he proposed to me ( I'll attach a pic)
Whats everyone else's announcement ideas? I need some inspo 😁

littletandme · 06/07/2020 10:24

@Kaybobx @Elakiya @candycrush2298 thank you ladies. We already have a nearly-3 year old little girl so she has been our sunshine through the last few months. I just can't wait to give her a sibling, she is the sweetest thing and loves babies.

candycrush2298 · 06/07/2020 10:29

@Kaybobx if its dark again who knows about validation or not all I know is if there is a chance just BD in case LOL!!!!

@ReginaaPhalange I get that, we did contract work in America for 2 years and it was such long hours that we were wiped plus the American heat wiped us out so didn't get too much time there either so I can honestly relate. ooooooh I am sure he is going to love you jumping him LOL!

@Kaybobx OMG I love your idea so much that is absolutely brilliant and so fitting considering that is how he proposed - just love it!!

@Elakiya and @Kaybobx I am a bit boring and not extremely romantic despite the amount of paranormal romance smut I read LOL. My plan is 3 weeks ago we did a couples shoot (ourselves we are amateur photographers) and one of them randomly he put his hands on my hips and I mimiced his hands on my belly so now it looks like I made a heart shape on my tummy hahaha. So I am going to add some images saying congrats you're going to be a dad with some little stickers of baby goods and print it out and then put that next to his side of the bed with a CB positive pregnancy test that clearly says 'Pregnant' he would question if cheap tests are reliable hahahaha. (Not knowing that I would have done about 600 cheap tests before using CB digital whahahah)

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 06/07/2020 10:29

@littletandme Awe my little girl is the same. She will be the best big sister, absolutely loves babies. So glad you had her to give you some strength, its just heartbreaking to think.

Kaybobx · 06/07/2020 10:36

@candycrush2298 ahhh that sounds lovely!! Your baby will have lots of amazing photos with you both being photographers. Our cost hundreds when our daughter was born.
Hahaha you should put in a box all the ovulation and pregnancy tests you've done over the months!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 he'll be like, what the actual hell. Who are you lol.

candycrush2298 · 06/07/2020 10:53

@littletandme ah how adorable that she loves babies its like she is saying please give me a sibling LOL too freaken cute and @Kaybobx how freaken cute!!!

@Kaybobx omg!! no I throw the tests away as quick as possible otherwise he will definitely be like who are you and how much have you been spending to feed this habit as a serial tester whahahahha!!!!!! and we are only amateur do it for fun with landscapes and when I drag hubby out because I want updated photos of us. I will most definitely be paying for a professional pregnancy shoot and new born shoots as I want them perfect!!!

candycrush2298 · 06/07/2020 12:03

Must have just been a blip that I went a little higher yesterday as its very low again today. Will keep testing this week because why???? Becuase I now have like 60 of these opks lol!!!!

@Kaybobx that is the cutest idea ever on how to reveal it to him! Really good idea!

@candycrush2298 I second the keeping all your ovulation and pregnancy tests. Put it all in a box make him tip it out and stick to the bottom of the box you should have a positive test 😁.

Also love the idea of editing that photo! Spooky that you naturally did that pose! You know your destined to be parents 😁.

Maybe you drank loads of water and your pee was diluted? They say you shouldn’t drink 2 hours before testing?
