I know that no one can tell me if I’m pregnant. I know I have to wait. I know I should stop peeing on sticks. But I’m just looking for some positive stories and wisdom to keep me going until I know one way or another and I know you’ll all understand Smile

I’m 5 days late for AF. Got some weak positives on Friday and Saturday on a FRER and a clear blue. Yesterday a positive on a CB digi (attached). This evening a faintish positive on a FRER (also attached). But this lunchtime I got a resounding negative on a CB dye test and a digital.

I’ve been spotting a bit, but nothing mad - only a little on wiping.

What do you think? Has this happened to anyone else and it all ended up okay? I’m driving myself potty.. Hmm

As you are still early on you may not have much hcg in your wee at lunchtime. I’m not an expert but when I was pregnant with my DS early on, I tested first thing and it was positive but then did two quite quickly after each other (excited!!) and one was positive then one negative. I don’t think you would get positives like that if you weren’t pregnant Smile

I think you're pregnant. Leave it a week before testing again though - sit on your hands/don't walk past the chemist/turn off your internet so you can't buy another test! You'll get a strong positive then and you can start to relax and plan for the future. Congratulations!

recreationalcalpol · 23/06/2020 20:58

I know - I have to stop testing but it’s like a compulsion! Early pregnancy is bloody rubbish.

You're not testing at the same time of day with the same tests so it's difficult to compare them? 4 days after your period due though you would expect a more definite line/result in clearblue no matter the time of test x

Maybe a chemical / early MC?

@recreationalcalpol hi, did you do another test today? Good luck x

recreationalcalpol · 24/06/2020 22:39

I did, thanks for asking! It was another positive this morning, line not particularly dark though.. still spotting a bit, but only after a BM. No idea what to think. I guess just keep testing and hope the lines get darker. Early pregnancy is the worst!

I’m seeing my consultant on Monday, so hopefully she’ll be able to reassure me

Still faint positives this morning. They should be dark by now right? AF is a week late!

Could it be that your dates are slightly out, maybe ovulated a bit later? X

recreationalcalpol · 25/06/2020 08:12

Don’t think so, my cycles are pretty regular.

Here’s this morning’s tests. Is it just me or is there some progression in the FRER compared with the other day? The weeks indicator on the digital is worrying though - should be more like 2-3 weeks. Still, I got a negative digital on Tuesday (though not a weeks indicator one) so at least this is progress.
Still spotting on and off during the day, never enough to touch a liner though

Try not to worry too much - all of my lines were faint but I got positives on digitals. My 7 month old is napping next to me now :) I think for some reason some people just don’t ever get strong lines x

To update, because I know that I always wanted to know the outcome when reading older threads, I saw my consultant today, I should be 6 weeks. She saw a fetal pole and sac, and no reason for the bleeding. Seemed completely unconcerned about not seeing a heartbeat yet, and is confident we’ll see it in a few weeks. So, feeling reassured, but waiting on that heartbeat! 💓

Congratulations! I've just found your thread after having faint positives and wondering what on earth is going on. Lovely to see a positive story 😊
kell2126 · 02/07/2020 16:39

congrats OP – lovely outcome! Flowers

Boredinthehouse12 · 02/07/2020 16:49

Congrats OP! And thank you for the update. I came on here looking for line progression threads and you’ve given me some hope x

recreationalcalpol · 02/07/2020 17:09

Thanks all, will be much happier once we get a heartbeat!

She also gave me some progesterone to stop the bleeding, so hopefully that will work

This was after my GP told me on the phone that I’d definitely miscarried and she didn’t need to see me because a scan would show a miscarriage 🙄
