Could I be pregnant or just a late period?

Morning,

I had sex on 14th. I ovulated between the 2nd-8th according to the app FLO. My cycles usually last around 27-29 days. However I was due to start my period on Sunday and now I'm 3 days late. I've had cramps with the tiniest bit of light pink blood. Could I be pregnant even though I already ovulated before having sex? Or maybe just a late period.. I'm unsure as to whether I should do a test as I think it is too early.

Please help! Thank youSmile

It really could be either. The only way to find out is to test - if you're late it's definitely not too early to test. Good luck and I hope it's the result you want.

If your period is 3 days late then you can do a test. Your period might either be starting or you are having implantation bleeding. Very hard to say without testing but if you had unprotected sex then there's always a chance of getting pregnant, no matter what cycle day you're on.

There’s always a chance your dates are out. A late period is always suspicious if you are trying. According to the nhs, An egg only lives for about 24 hours. A sperm can live up to 7 days in the body. So if you ovulated before the 8th...the egg would not be still there on the 14th.

If you did the deed some days before ovulation, or if you ovulated later than u think, it’s possible.

It’s always worth shot to put your mind at rest I think
