@blodyn91 haha although if I ovulated tomorrow I'm def counting that as day 12! When my OD is later then my LP seems to follow suit and still stay around the same amount of days so let's hope that's what you get too!

Scrap that, I'm not telling myself it was invalid now. the doctor just phoned and said if the bloods are done on the right day progesterone should be around 30, even at wrong day after ovulation it should be detectable. Mine was 1

So yeah. No chance really. 😫I'll just be over here with my empty husk of a womb wondering how much I might get for selling my soul to 👹

I was also trying to figure out with peak and ovulation day, am I right thinking you ovulate a day after peak, so tomorrow would be 1dpo for you? I think it varies so much between us all there is no set day. Like I peaked this morning so am I ovulating 24-36hrs after initial LH rise yesterday morning? or from peak? Tbh though not something worth stressing over 😂 Ill just make sure I jump OH tomorrow morning again

Aw @Minster2012 I'm so sorry! I feel really deflated hearing that, I can't imagine how you feel. So hard getting your hopes up and then having them trashed. Where does that leave you with your planned ivf so? Will that bleed put a spanner in the works if it wasn't ovulation bleeding?

@Minster2012 😩 so sorry about that! Think of all the positives though, a decent period means your womb is ready for an egg, so hopefully IVF will be successful this time. Keep drinking the ass and pom juice, and all the egg protein is definitely helping! Wont be long till you get to go through IVF right? (I know expensive and would be nice to go against all the odds, but you have already done that!) 😘

Sorry to hear about your results @Minster2012 is there anything they can do to help or did they give you an indication going forward while you're waiting?

When someone was talking of shower sex it reminded me of the only time I tried it and it failed spectacularly. There was barely any room in the shower we took ages to find a position we could maneuver into, I felt like a drowned rat rather than a steamy wet sex goddess and then my ex fainted mid shagging from the heat in the shower and exertion during sex sending us both flying down in a heap and me having to drag him out the shower unconscious .........it definitely wasn't as sexy as it looks in the movies!!! Send your shower sex tips this way lol

the IVF is meant to be from day 2 of AF (so about 6th July) but can only go ahead if they've got the letter from my consultant, which I haven't received my copy, so they haven't, & then I had to fill out a Covid statement & return it to get appointments. And I haven't had that. So nothing booked in, & going on those numbers I guess I need a whole host of progesterone support (which you do get, 3 lots of suppositories I had last time every night up the foof!) maybe more this time.

I wonder what the bleeding was then?

@DKDK123 i hate shower sex purely for the reason that i get eyelash extensions and you're not allowed to put your face under the shower so it really doesn't work 😂 i csnt rmember the last time i put my face under the shower 😂

@Minster2012 that's what I was wondering. This thread seems to be full of menstrual mysteries! Why can't things just be plain and simple!

@blodyn91 I think from peak to ov is quite variable - I keep reading that it's a day or two after peak, but I could swear I ov very soon (like within a few hours) after mine! Maybe I'm just weird 😆

@Minster2012 mate. I'm so sorry to hear that. You deserve this so bloody much, but it's not over 💪🏼 Keep doing what you do best and enjoy the time with your hubs having lots of wheelbarrow fun, but if it has to be IVF it's going to be the egg that makes the baby that was meant for you. You got this.

I just got a call from work, they expect me back on 1st July, yes they know the government has extended shielding but the company hasn't, so... still waiting for the doctor to sign the sick note, it looks like I really need it

@Vil10 good to hear about your results bar the hormones etc. My doctor didn't even bother to ring me when they were done, so after 2 weeks I called and she dropped the pcos bomb on me. Sounds like your surgery is much more on the ball!

@Minster2012 this is shit news about the progesterone, did you ask the Dr about the mid cycle bleeding? Really hoping it sorts itself out in time for your IVF and they get all the paperwork and stuff sorted so you have that to look forward to at least ☺️ erm I haven't been to the gym in a while not sure I can even hold my own weight 😂

@Franklydear yeah it seems a lot of employers are wanting people back in work even if they are shielding but if you get a Drs note there isn't much they can say to that x

@KateColx im being so calm today 🧘‍♀️ secretly hoping OH initiates something tonight but we'll see, think I'm 2 days before ovulation so it's the best day for it but must remember to put relationship first 😒

@blodyn91 it felt like he was out for ages but in reality I think it was only a minute or 2 before he came round again. It was a hotel we were in so im panicking thinking do I run for help and what do I say 'There's a naked guy passed out on my bathroom floor can you help?' 😂 Luckily he came round before that, he was so embarrassed and we vowed never to try shower sex again. Totally ruined the whole night as he felt a bit woosy so had to keep an eye on him make sure he didn't have concussion and all sexy time was out of the question.

Ooooh my @DKDK123 similar happened to me... But it was me who stacked it! My ex and I were away in a hotel for my birthday, and it had the most glorious walk in shower. We'd travelled straight from work so I was like let me shower before we test out the bed please (standard). So I'm singing away, washing my hair, eyes closed when someone grabs me and scares the SHIT out of me! I jumped so bad I slipped and went arse over tit, then he's there trying to help me up but we're all slippery limbs and both end up in a heap 😂😂😂

We have a large double shower (designed it ourselves, body jets n all you know...prob used those once, n they are a bugger to clean 😝) & it's quite funny having spoken to the builders over "well you know, sometimes it's nice to have a large shower 🤷‍♀️" with them nudging & winking, yeah, for two. We've not slipped over yet but I do usually get my eyelashes wet @Lucyrp 😂the only time I've done that was on the lead up to our wedding I can't believe you do that all the time!!

Consoling myself with crying a lot about my faultiness, & gin. I don't know why I expected anything else, I knew it anyway in my heart of hearts, but I guess it's Cos I've never been allowed TTC I still held up hope that my body would step up. Stupid really.
