Thanks for the stats update @SmileyT. 25 BFP out of 100 is reassuring as its hitting the average the 'medical world' says with your 25% chance each month. It can be so hard when youre TTC as all you seem to see is people in the 'real world' announcing pregnancies around you but what you dont tend to hear about are all the other people still trying so unless there's a forum like this its so easy to think that it's just you and there's something wrong with you if you can't achieve it too. Seeing your stats normalises things a bit more, its just a waiting game :) Fingers crossed for another 25% or more in July, sprinkling baby dust over everyone 🤞

Welcome back @Amy00 I did wonder where you had gone. It's so hard to resist testing early. Ive done it at 9dpo last two cycles and really it tells you nothing! Hoping to hold out longer this time. But sure as long as it doesn't upset you then what harm! Hope a line appears for you in the next few days 😃
@DKDK you are so right, being part of a group like this really helps tou see it from all sides, not just the real life happy endings. Helps put things in perspective.

@SmileyT OH ysed to get so frustrated with me going on top because I just couldn't do it for long but since I've lost weight and gained muscle I can boss it and he loves it but he does prefer to be in control most of the time 😂

Also CD50 meaning this cycle is now 7 weeks long and i was hoping AF would be here this morning but alas nothing and i was supposed to be going on holiday with OH and DS for a weekend away in a caravan by the seaside this weekend so feeling a bit sad about that ☹️

Hi ladies!!

So the surprise party was a massive hit and he was so surprised and appreciative and had such a good time!! We had sun for about 2 hours then it rained all day but we had big gazebos up so it was still amazing!!
So I'm 6dpo and got sore nipples but I got the same around this time last cycle so thinking it's high progesterone, but is there still chance I could get my BFP if I have high progesterone now? I think I'm thinking because I had this last time at the same time and obviously didn't get my BFP that it's only to be the same this time!!😩

Morning all, the cramps are gone, also in a weird morning, slept until 11.30 and D's didn't wake up before, so we are going to have a really weird Sunday

@DKDK123 your post was spot on! So easily to be drowned by social media. OH doesn't understand why I am on a forum, but I've learned so much from joining! I would still be DTD on the complete wrong days.

@Vil10 good levels of progesterone (P4) is really positive, if you do have a fertilized egg that implanting, high P4 is what you need. BBT can sort of track P4 levels. Definitely don't use it to rule you in or out though, but it does mean you have a good luteal phase

Also linking this article regarding exercise and fertility, after weeks of googling, this is the first I've come across that is helpful to me, so might be helpful to any of you as well

@2alreadywantanother one thing I'd bare in mind is that ic aren't as sensitive as other early detection tests so they are very unlikely to give you conclusive results until at least 12dpo and even then you may not have enough hcg for them to show so don't be disheartened if you test early x

Welcome back @Amy00 I've got to say I do love pregnancy YouTube videos, mainly about all the swag to buy although I'll definitely be going for more 2nd hand stuff after @Minster2012 mentioned about this x

@Katao @DKDK123 glad the stats have made you feel better ladies, I'm a numbers geek so I find it helpful to be in this group and see that it happens for people but also not for everyone that has sex on the right days straight away. We are not alone in this x

@lucyrp I actually had a strop to OH about it but even when I try and get on top he will literally throw me over and in the midst of shagging I don't mind. He is 6ft and I'm 5ft1 and half his size so just don't think I put enough force into it for him 😂

@Vil10 ahh sounds like a wonderful day and it's his actual birthday today isn't it? Hope you're not both struggling too much with hangovers 🥴 I'll pass on info I've read, but obvs everyone is different. Until the point of implantation at 6-12 dpo your symptoms will be based on progesterone which peaks around 6/7dpo when not pg then if your body isn't pregnant it starts to prepare for your period so progesterone drops and symptoms change. If you do implant your body starts to produce hcg and oestrogen &progesterone increases which is what causes the nausea, boob soreness etc so that's a long answer but in short having the same symptoms in the 1st week after ovulation isn't a bad sign. @smileyT yeah I know. It's my friends birthday next wkend. So I'm trying to organise me and another friend going to hers for a birthday drink. If I tested b4 it and was lucky enough to get a bfp I wouldn't be having a drink so my plan is to use that as an excuse to stop the urge to poas.

@SmileyT im feeling good today had a nice lie in DH got up with DS so I'm now having lunch which consists of Pom bears dipped in red pepper humous.....ladies if you haven't tried this do it it's nice! Will also be having a Sunday lunch later! X

2/3DPO for me today already I'm feeling impatient I hate having to wait hopefully it will go quickly. CB has me at low now so think that's my testing done for this cycle! X

@Vil10 I would say sore nipples is normal for progesterone I had them last cycle too however when I was PG with DS around 10dpo I noticed my whole boobs were achey and sore and was really conscious of them even wearing a bra I couldn't stop poking them as they were really sore. They felt bigger. They didn't stay sore all the way through just for the first few weeks and then we're massive and really sore after giving birth x

@SmileyT OH is literallt the same size as me so it's pretty equal fight to who does what 😂

@Cocoblue22 it was going to be our first little holiday away altogether too ☹️ and I was going to book abroad next year but things have changed so not sure what we'll do now. I took OH away to a spa hotel in the middle of March for his birthday and it was literallt the weekend before all of this COVID kicked off so I'm so glad we went as it was our first time doing that too and it was nice. I got BFP at 8 weeks with DS and my other pregnancy. I haven't bothered buying any pregnancy tests other than cheap one step ICs which have been stark white so not sure what to do 😂 I don't think I am but never say never x

@lucyrp aww at least you got that nice weekend away together I love spa weekends and I'm lucky DH is quite happy to come along he usually uses the gym and pool while I get treatments so win win!! I feel so bad for you still waiting it really sucks x

@Cocoblue22 yeah it was really nice actually we hadn't done it before! OH doesn't swim but managed to drag him into the pool 😂 can't wait to do it again! We even had a bottle of champers on the balcony 😏 I know I really don't know what to do with myself I haven't even thought about OH and I having a baby the last couple of weeks as it just seems impossible at the moment so have managed to push it to the back of my head but I had a moment yesterday when we were all in the car together and I looked back and thought about a baby seat next to DS in the back☹️ x

@lucyrp it sounds lovely was it a spa in Wales? You sound like you've got the right attitude atm. I have those thoughts too about baby car seat! Hopefully we will get our BFPs soon 🤞🏻x

Recommendation for spa girls if you ever have the opportunity go to the titanic spa in Huddersfield it is without a doubt the best spa I have ever been to. Quite pricey but well worth it! It's ultimate indulgence and relaxation. DH owes me a trip there after the Covid restrictions end! X

@Cocoblue22 it was a lovely spa hotel in tenby! I obviously feel down about it but when I thought about it yesterday I thought god I haven't really thought about it too much and I've still managed to stay on here and chat to you ladies! I was actually thinking about it because DS was prodding me in the back with his feet and was thinking I would be swapping him to the other side when we have a baby 😂 and then I thought about how cute it would be. Fingers crossed ! X

@Blodyn91 ohhh that's good to know! I haven't been doing my BBT, maybe if I'm not lucky this cycle ill start tracking it next! Hopefully everything is running smoothly then!x

@SmileyT yeah his birthday today! We are slightly hungover but more tired than anything!! Nipping round to his and my mums for a brew then his uncle is cooking us tea so hopefully that'll sort us out! So basically if my symptoms do the same as last cycle with my sore nipples easing as the days go on it's a low chance that I'm pregnant? Suppose I can't use stuff like that to determine but it helps! I'll just have to wait and see! Thankyou!x

@Vil10 thanks for the recommendation of the easy@home opk with the app! I have both now haha! I'm after some advice... I was using the amazon cheap opks beforehand and yesterday my new ones arrived, so being curious I used one last night and then again today...I got my first peak result this morning with my second toilet trip as dd had me up at 5am, but ive just done another test and the result is still there but lighter... can the surge be that quick? I have slight twingy cramps on my right side and I have checked cm and its abit more watery then EW, so do we think i have ovulated already? Or will it happen today/tomorrow?
We DTD last night and will again tonight and tomorrow to make sure we are covered... I've attached a picture of my premom test results incase you spot anything I haven't.

Sorry I forgot to say, I'm CD13 and my premom app says il ovulate in 1 day.
I had mc on 16th June and didnt need any medical intervention as it happened naturally x

I bloody love a spa, we had booked one in Shrewsbury for my friends 30th, then that storm came and flooded the roads so we had to cancel- re arranged and corona came 😔 I always book random afternoon and spa days on groupon 😄 sometimes we just catch the train into Birmingham, but love it when we go for a couple of nights. Will add the titanic spa to my list!
I am craving a weekend getaway so bad!

@Hopeful110 some peaks are that quick, you could ovulate today or tomorrow, I think I read 12-36 hr from LH starting to surge. Looks like you have it all covered!

Oh really! Wow! Thankyou for that! So after tomorrow just do the TWW? And do a FRER? I have no idea when AF will actually arrive as my cycles are so irregular I normally only get one or two a year, so il be symptom spotting no doubt x

@Hopeful110 do you only have 2 periods a year because of PCOS or something? Sorry you've probably said before. But just be weary that if you have any hormonal irregularities I think that you can have multiple peaks in a cycle but if you have ovulated then AF will be due between 10 and 17 days later so can take a FRER in that time x

@Vil10 that sounds like a lush day and yes I'd say in general if symptoms get stronger in the 2nd week that's a good sign, but as with everything ttc we are all so individual so only way to know is with the test at the end x

@Cocoblue22 glad you had a lie-in and jealous of your Sunday lunch ☺️ I've had such a lazy Sunday with DP at work just watching normal people and eating shit 😂 I'm 1/2dpo (but telling myself 1) so just going to try and switch off of it all for the next week or so x

@lucyrp we booked Barbados a couple of weeks ago for November and it's great having something to look forward to so maybe you could get something in the diary for the end of this year/ beginning of next year little treat for you all xx
