Yes I would say so, I would keep checking as might get slightly darker but you should O soon (assuming that’s why you’re checking!)

That was last night at about 8pm (DTD afterwards), ive just done one now and its lighter so do you think that was my peak im very new to this so any advice is appreciated, if it was my peak yesterday when will I ovulate and need to dtd etc? Sorry for all the questions!

Yes so that sounds like you had your LH surge last night. Generally you’ll ovulate 24-48 hours after getting the surge (so would probably say today). Some women experience a bit of cramping when it happens so if you’ve had any today, that’s probably a sign!
Swimmers need to be there and ready to meet the egg so DTD yesterday was a good idea, if you can do tonight and tomorrow that will give you your best chances of them being there to meet the egg. If you’ve DTD in the last few days, swimmers can live up to 5 days too. Fx crossed for you!
Please ask away, there’s so many fabulously supportive women on here 😊
If you’re new to OPKs, you might find using clear blue smiley face ones easier to start with as they’re clearer to read but they are so much more expensive but it helped me get used to them before moving to the strips

You may want to look at the Sperm meets egg plan - spermmeetseggplan.com/

That gives some good advice on the days to DTD and then when to do after a positive OPK

Thankyou so much! I've got a 3 year old son but I never did the ovulation tracking the first time as he was a lovely surprise so this time around its all new to me, I've had slight crampy feeling today slightly like period cramps around dinner time today but not as bad so would that be it? I'll try dtd tonight also so fingers crossed! Thankyou so much for your help i really appreciate it 😃

It could be! It’s deffo something I never noticed before I started the TTC journey but now I feel every cramp and twinge haha
It is a slippery slope so try keep chilled out and not tracking too much if you can help it. There’s some great threads at the minute for people at various stages in their cycle so would encourage you to have a look at while you’re in your TWW. Baby dust to you and enjoy DTD!!
