HSG test one blocked tube

Hi I'm really upset as I had a HSG test (it was extremely painful) and it showed that my left fallopian tube was blocked in the middle however my right tube is clear. The doctor said she flushed it there was a bit of debris but now it's clear. I have no problems with my ovaries and my periods are on time. I had one ectopic last year in the blocked tube. I am upset as I am desperately trying to get pregnant but since last September nothing. I also been trying on day of ovulation rather than before is this wrong? Is it possible to get pregnant with one tube?

hello, sorry about the left tube and your ectopic!

It’s very possible to get pregnant with one tube albaolitely. Your right ovary will work with the working Fallopian tube AND the left ovary can ovulate Where the right Fallopian can swiping for the egg!
I ask have no left working tube as it’s blocked at the start of the tube but my right is working ok. I got pregnant with my left ovary and Fallopian tube. The body is insane!

As for the pain - I know what you mean that was the worst pain I ever experienced- I believe it’s something that should be done under sedation.
