IVF - how long would you wait?

Want to get some opinions here. I'm 30, OH is 35. TTC just about 12 cycles with no hint of BFP. Very healthy with no modifiable risk factors (except stress!) and no med history. Have just had a consultation with a fertility specialist and OH has suboptimal morphology but a high concentration so he has enough there to "get the job done" and we're addressing the morphology now with supplements etc etc. I have no issues and have an above average AMH for my age. The specialist has said it would be reasonable to go straight to IUI or IVF now, and predicted 15% success per cycle with IUI and about 50% with IVF given my high AMH and age. He has said that at this stage our success per cycle trying naturally is 5-8%.

We're very, very lucky that we can get 50% off all IVF services as a work perk, and even without that, the money wouldn't be the issue. We've had a massively stressful time with work issues, house purchases issues, family issues and I've foolishly allowed myself to become pretty obsessed with TTC and am totally broken from it all.

I realise I possibly sound like a brat as others have been TTC for an awful lot longer than we have and hope that I don't offend people with this message and would ask people to be kind! I'm just curious to hear from those who have had to take the IVF route - was the monthly heartbreak when trying naturally worse than the IVF process? I'm a medic so I do understand the gruelling nature of it but part of me would rather that than sit around and wait with minimal hope each month?

Either way, I want to wait another couple of cycles, start some extra supplements, do some acupuncture (had been doing pre lockdown) and reiki, really try to reduce stress etc but if still nothing by September or so my thoughts would be to take the dive into IVF?
