Okay so I don't want to be pregnant to clarify bit I cannot shake the feeling that I am.
However rationally speaking I don't think I can be.

I am breastfeeding so my cycle had only just returned to normal recently. Wasn't tracking or anything but seemed fairly regular.

Started on the pill at beginning of lockdown. Wasn't really having sex so did miss the odd pill in the first couple of weeks. Then took it regularly.

I genuinely cannot remember when my last period was maybe April or beginning of May.

When I realised I had no period for ages I bout the early detection clear blue blue dye tests pack of two - both negative.

Still could shake it so waited three days and bought another two pack of the same type - both negative.

That was two weeks ago and I have just take. A pink dye test that only came up with one line but by looking at the picture it looks like the line came up where the pregnancy line should be but the control line is absent?

What are my chances of a run of five faulty pregnancy tests?

Also surely if I have had no period for at least 6 weeks surely a positive would come up quickly and easily?

The pill is cerelle which a quick google tells me can stop your periods completely which would explain things. I do feel a bit sick but I think that's anxiety over my situation more than anything.

Apologies for posting here when so many are desperate for a BFP but really would appreciate some advice.

Can you post a pic of the red dye test?

It sounds like negative from what you've said. I think the early days of taking the pill can mess with your hormones a fair bit although it's been a while since I've taken one so sure someone more experienced can advise on that.

I binned it and frightened to take it out the bin now tbh in case of an evap or something

I'd say breastfeeding and being on the pill it's not surprising that your period is late/unreliable. Both those things are known to delay AF. I dont think all those tests are wrong to be honest. Give it another week and test again but try not to worry

Thank you for your response! Yes I'm hoping I'm just worrying unnecessarily
